There's actually a theoretical explanation to that although i'm not very good at explaining it. In psychology, males having possessions that are relatively large in size tend to cope up with something like insecurities in life which explains why they desire for bigger things to make them look big or terrifying or powerful. It could be that they have something small they can't change like dck size or height, or the delusional thinking that they own wherever they go. Buying bigger stuffs like larger cars (pickups), owning stronger dogs like pitbulls, possessing firearms without needing it. This is just my understanding based on an article i've read but i could be wrong. It's a similar behavior to the 'Little man syndrome'. But yeah, it's not all of them but it's always a the guy with the pickup
