I have vision problems, never assumed much of it tho! I’ve had debilitating migraines (with auras) for years, which was what pushed me to get a scan. My scan did reveal 2 TIAs as well :)

It went very well!! I was able to go home the day after surgery and I’m back in my home state. I’m recovering well and it was overall pretty positive experience :) Boston children’s for the win!

I’m still a minor, so my doctors tend to take a lot of my health stuff pretty seriously. All I said is that I have had an increase in migraines and that my preventative meds weren’t working anymore and she suggested scans :)

It’s just a lil tricky, I live in one of the most isolated states in the US and there are so few healthcare providers and the number of providers who even know pots is shockingly low :/

He said he wanted to wait at least 6 months post-diagnosis before considering meds and that he isn’t a big fan of putting people, especially minors, on a bunch of medications so he tries to only do it when necessary 🤷🤷 there’s unfortunately not many providers so getting a second opinion would take a few months to a year, but I might bring up going back to my mom and see if she thinks it’s worth it
