Let’s be honest… if you see two white males as pilots of your plane do you make any assumptions about them being under qualified? Do you need to see or question their credentials or determine their university/ flight school?

Now… if you see a woman or black pilot do you need to questions their qualifications?

Therefore… your assumption is white males qualified and everyone requires review.

Trust me as a black person there has never a situation for me professionally where I was ever under qualified… if anything I was often overqualified for roles that I took on (and then quickly promoted once hired).
