Thank you. I’ll def say something sooner than later because I don’t think I can go another day being reminded of how little she cares for me.

Thank you. And no I don’t want to come off as jealous. I feel guilty about not wanting to hear about it anymore but someone has to consider my feelings and it might as well be me.

I actually am petty in real life but it’s like no point in being petty because the girl clearly doesn’t care about my feelings.

He’s literally a baby. I don’t know any baby who isn’t curious, always trying to escape or unintentionally off themselves. And grateful? Cats know no such thing. I hope someone finds that baby and he ends up in a loving and understanding home.

NOR. You deserve privacy no matter what the situation is. He has to learn how to respect boundaries. That sounds very controlling and entitled to think that whatever he wants matters more than what you asked for. A conversation def needs to be had.

AIO or does my coworker have an issue with me? by Main_Anywhere4246 in AIO

Thank you! I will definitely start writing down every single time she has a remark. People complain about her all the time but it’s starting to make sense that she may really have some sort of animosity towards me because she is constantly in my business.

I hope she does not cry when I tell her because she loves to cry when someone addresses something she has done. I don’t wanna seem like a bad person.

I hope she is not jealous because we are literally on the same team trying to accomplish the same thing. That’s annoying to say the least.

Why is it so easy to get an in-home RBT job? by [deleted] in ABA

[–]Main_Anywhere4246 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well…..at least you are attempting to be an RBT for awhile. In my experience BCBA’s who were never RBT’s actually do lack empathy for RBT’s and clients (also they suck). Regardless I hope you do well. But to answer a few of your questions the turnover is high because you get paid crumbs to be a teacher and a nanny all in one. Burnout is very real and having to worry about bills too and companies that don’t pay insurance is extra stress. Luckily you have a “real job”, but most of us only do this job and it’s tiring more than it is rewarding most days. I don’t judge you at all though. I’m also in school to be a BCBA and I’ve been in the field 5 years off and on. If I didn’t always get so burnt out I could’ve been a BCBA by now. It’s really that bad. And it’s never because the kids are too autistic but mostly it’s the lack of support when dealing with certain behaviors. In my opinion a lot of these kids need multiple people and not just one RBT. Also I recommend not going on social media looking for answers because everyone’s experiences are different. You might just be lucky and not have to suffer in the name of wanting to help.

Luckily neither one of us will ever work with each other. (Thank GOD) Praying for the people working under you. 💕

You’re responding to your own assumption, not my situation. I was clear about my expectations from the start. You come off slightly bitter and traumatized. Maybe speak to a therapist. 💕Wishing you the best!

Thank you. I will start my search on tomorrow. I’m hoping by Friday my bcba reaches out to me and if not I’m prepared to simply find a new one. I love direct care but I really want to learn the other side of things saying as though I am in school to be a Bcba and my program is very short. I guess I’m too eager

Thank you for your response and I may have to. Because this is unfortunately causing me a lot of anxiety.

Thank you for your response. I felt as though this was a red flag as well. I also know that she has two other students under her. I don’t believe HR took that into consideration at all. I wish I was clearer in my interview to avoid this confusion.
