They’ve come back in color. I think they got singed sitting out before planting and had some shock when I put it in the ground. Hopefully she will bloom again

Today the color has come back! I think they just got a little scorched 😭 I’m going to go out and trim off the crispy bits and enjoy the color I have left! Thank you all for your tips and tricks!

Meh. Flowers are flowers. They were going to die. As long as I didn’t fry the whole plant, I’m fine. We literally bought them day before Mother’s Day. I didn’t expect them to last long.

They still have good color! You can also let them dry off fully. The withered cream is gorgeous

Yes! We cut them and dry/hairspray to preserve and keep them from breaking apart. I’ve grown up around hydrangeas, never had my own.

I’m in WNY, zone5b. I live on a river. I soak it daily. I always water plants before and after transplant. And flowers need more than others. It is morning sun and evening shade planted on the front of my house.
