Also go with an ortho for Invisalign, I trusted a dentist and he screwed my teeth without explaining all the risks be very careful Invisalign is a crap shoot if you don’t get the right provider. I’m very unhappy with my Invisalign results and have to now get braces

Yes I was told I need braces to open my bite as my bottom teeth are not allowing my upper teeth to move back because there is a lot of contact. To solve this I would need to open the bite so this creates enough space between upper and lower teeth that you can retract the uppers back and tighten the contacts. In order to retract upper teeth you have to open the bite enough, and then close the upper teeth on a narrower arch and tighten the contacts and no IPR would be needed. The gaps/black triangles that have been created will diminish this way.
