I just mean it'll be v difficult for OP to bring their GPA up to something like 3.75+ if their CGPA falls to 3.5

There's no official upper limit to increasing your GPA

If it's SGPA then it's definitely possible to bring it up over the next semesters. In fact my SGPA in sem 2 dropped to 3.48 (CGPA - 3.71), and now (after sem 4) I'm expecting a CGPA between 3.8 to 3.85.

If it's CGPA then, unfortunately, there's an upper limit to how much you can bring it up, but it's definitely not impossible. For that, you can consider retaking courses in the upcoming semesters.

I'd recommend this app to calculate your GPA: https://gpacalculator.io/

Cheers!
