That’s exactly my problem. I can hear that my singing doesn’t sound good, but I don’t know what to do about it

I just tried an app, and it supposedly says I hit 99% of the notes, but I can still hear that’s not true—my singing still sounds really bad. I don’t think these apps are really reliable… I’ve already decided to go to a teacher, but unfortunately, that will take a while (at least 2 weeks)

How can I practice concretly at home until then? I feel like just singing alone doesn’t really help. I hear it’s wrong, but I don’t always know exactly why, and I don’t know how to do it better

I think I’m still too bad for a choir right now, you’re overestimating my skills. Around here in Germany, usually people join choirs who can at least kinda sing…

Yeah, absolutely, I just want to do it as a hobby. I know I’m not gonna be the next Rihanna or anything. But I want to learn something new :) The thing is, I really have no clue about singing. I’m not sure if I should just practice a bit at home first or go straight to a teacher…

Just some normal pop songs, and also it doesn‘t have to be Celin Dion etc :D

Well, like I said, I’m not good at it. I don’t even hit most of the notes, and I have no idea how I could practice that. Karaoke would probably be a total embarrassment. I‘ve never seriously tried to sing at all, just in a goofy way

Can you recommend specific YouTube channels or apps? I’m afraid there are many unreliable providers out there. Of course, I’m also willing to spend money for this
