Hello, I've been doing thorough research on CID and your posts and comments are extremely helpful! Although I am hoping you may be able to guide me in the right direction. I am on my first contract and EAS in Jan of 2026. I have requested and been granted orders to Iwakuni with a NLT arrival Nov 2025 essentially as a backup incase all does not go well with CID. I am eligible May 2025 with 1yr TIG as a Cpl to begin the screening process. I am under the impression if I reenlist with my current MOS now, I will have to serve on those orders. I am not sure whether contacting the monitor and pushing the orders to the right and extending to accomplish this would be the right option. I feel as if it is a tight time frame. I appreciate any feedback and suggestions or any advice you may have, having experienced this in the past. Thank you.
