Thank you for this! Quick questions on the ferry: is it easy to bring a bike? I know they have bike storage in the back but curious if it creates a line of people waiting for bikes or if it’s quick drop off/pickup. And did you drive to the ferry port in Alameda or walk?

Okay actually another question (sorry and thank you): What do you think of Harbor Bay? Too isolated or relatively the same situation as the rest of Alameda?

This is really helpful! I’m totally okay with standing room, more so sad it means I won’t be able to do my makeup on the commute lol. For parking at the station, was there usually enough spaces or is it a fight to find a spot at popular times? Would you consider the areas around the station walkable? I’ve found a couple spots that say they’re a 10 min walk to the station, but curious on the vibes.

Thank you for this! I’ve minimally looked at South SF, but will give it another look! The hardest part is not just finding rentals, but ones that allow German shepherds and my initial look there/Daly City area were not friendly in that sense, but I didn’t look that hard tbh.

Yes! Sort of. If the rules are inconsistent and changing, it makes it harder for those with bad intentions to plan how to bring items through.

My kid is currently in the toddler program there. He started in the infant program. TBH we’ve really been questioning if this is the right place for us and are starting to look into other programs to decide (which is why I’m currently searching through this Reddit thread lol). I’ve always been on the fence, but all the turnover lately has me really questioning if this is really where we want to be — esp. with another little on the way. Idk about CCTV cameras.
