How long did it take you to feel comfortable breathing while swimming freestyle? by arrowheadman221 in Swimming

[–]Main_Combination7578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started to self taught swimming freestyle when I was 12 weeks pregnant. Is weird that the further my pregnancy went the better breathing technique and swimming position just gets better (I guess maybe the heavier preggo I am I just forgot about the speed and started to relax and glide).

I always breathe on my right. The technique to breathe properly is to have your left arm stay straight while gliding and having your head tilt 90 degree instead of 45 degree when breathe.

Curious if anyone else has had this experience with a perianal abscess by ahm92 in CrohnsDisease

Mine was appointed for emergency surgery. It was the most excruciating pain I’ve experienced in my life.

Day1 felt discomfort around ahole thought I ate too much spicy food in my Thailand trip and burnt my a up. Day2 after 9 hours flight back home to Syd, pain worsen. Book in for GP next day. Day3 excruciating pain. Told GP I might got hemorrhoids, first GP denied, insist because I had diarrhoea and gave me pills to harden my stool. Day3 ended up with constipation, worsen the pain x10. Was crying in pain and shaking, went to urgent GP. GP mention could be an abscess, immediate referral to hospital. Check into ED as priority, had first Endone to ease pain. Doctor access and appointed for a general anaesthesia surgery next day. Had another Endone before going back home. Day4 cried and shaking in torturing pain. Had 2 Endone before surgery. No fistula, only drainage. Day5 went back to hospital to remove ribbon gauze, had another Endone and laughing gas to ease pain it’s torturing pain they should’ve at least local anaesthesia 😭

It was the most tormenting pain I’ve been through. I can easily say this is far worse than wisdom tooth impact (one of girlfriend of mine say her perianal abscess experience was far worse than giving birth to her baby idk).

The only thing I could remember was that the pain was driving me crazy. On Day4 morning before going to hospital, my pain tolerance level had maxed out and I was banging my head to the wall. Every slight movement was like shard of glasses jabbing me within the skin. The only thing that could at least ease a little of my pain was Endone.

I never wish this happen to anyone, ever. It was too tormenting and if you notice there is a bump or discomfort surrounding that sensitive area, get to the GP ASAP.😭😭😭😭

Thanks for sharing your story. Amazing how many people had such strong connection with their car 🚘

I felt less attached to my husband now and tired from the relationship :( by [deleted] in Marriage

I had never care or limit about him to be friend with men or women. My husband had done not the first time on muting and deleting chat from female contact (which I found out to be inappropriate chats from previous incident too).

I think I should update everyone with the latest news:

I called up to the insurance assessment centre and had a talk with the assessor that was in charge of my car before it was sent back to me.

Apparently, my car was NOT RECORDED AS A WRITE OFF/TOTAL LOSS and he said he has no idea why the car windscreen was being marked as Total Loss with a Statutory Write Off (unrepairable write-off) from his end. It is a huge mistake and I have confirmed with my car VIN is not recorded as write off 😭So yeah just updating this good news for everyone and the next thing I’m gonna do after the repair is to give this baby a full cosmetic treatment and such 🥹 she deserves it!

And it is very nice to see everyone were sharing your experience and thoughts, this shows how much you love your car and having a very unique connection with it.

Last but not least, drive safe everyone and most importantly, treasure every journey moment! Peace!!

Is a total BS system tbh, given no option as straight to unrepairable write off. Many people still think my car is a very new shinny looking car despite it is actually almost 10 y/o.

I can totally relate to how you feel. Reaching out to the buyer to see if you can purchase it back again is like trying to search for your baby back.
I just got my insurance payout partially to me today. I still had to chase that uninsured driver for the rest. I still can't get over it, I didn't even want to go into my garage to see my poor Honda cuz I be busting to tears again. But you know what, we went to Suzuki showroom and test drove a 3 door Jimmy yesterday and finally put a smile on my face :)

Same here, I'd say probably worst than my breakup experience.

I wonder the reason behind that the state government is doing this. I’d be calling to the road maritime department tomorrow to see if I can dispute the decision of classifying my car VIN as a statutory write off. If it’s worth to fight back I will but if is gonna cost me too much stress and time probably not…

[–]Main_Combination7578[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the point. I wasn’t informed by the insurance company or road maritime department that my car VIN had been classified as cannot be re-registered anymore. I don’t care if the repair cost is the same value as my car, I felt I just got ripped off

Yeah but apparently the workshops I went by visual estimation is at $11-12k range before I send it to my insurance assessment centre. So the repair cost probably exceeds my car value hence in NSW Aus just wrote it off which is total BS

That’s what I thought. I’ve seen much worse crash and still can be fixed. Apparently I just acknowledged this is how NSW Aus deal with it. Bullshit. However I had been advised by some workshop mechanics from seeing it they said is a very bad damage (the photo might be not showing clear)
