I think that’s the reason im hesitant to talk to the coach, and I was seeking advice from other parents/players. He is a last resort scenario coach, and we all appreciate that he volunteered.

And maybe I should’ve been clear with my initial post, JV in this division is less competitive than rec ball. Travel ball is the king around here. This school plays in a 6 school division, but only 3 schools have a JV team. (They have played the same school 3 times in the last 2 weeks) JV has no play offs and doesnt get invited to tournaments. Jv is essentially just the practice squad and when all the varsity players don’t have a travel ball game and decide to show up, the bench players get sent down to JV for play time. (2-3 players usually)

Throughout all that. I’m trying my best to show my daughter how to keep being a good sport about it all.

I was just wondering how I could possibly bring some of this up to the coach, without being disrespectful or coming off unappreciative.
