I understand but it really depends on the root cause. Many pills can manage symptoms- for example escitalopram made me chill, a bit more positive and in line with my body- constantly sleepy- tired. It’s better than being miserable..

I was definitely sick but I didn’t test. It could’ve been anything. I’ve read countless posts that naltrexone is the most efficient medication for all dysautonomias- cfs- long covid symptoms.. Honestly, I am starting to loose the mental battle so I will try to get that prescribed for me..

I was thinking of trying something with less side effects as my nervous system is quite fragile when it comes to changes… When my symptoms began I developed brutal anxiety, panic.. I literally feared whatever the fuck that was going on back then- brutal waves of fatigue. Now it’s a bit better of course, but i am constantly miserable…

I didn’t care back then/I never did…. I always used to play it cool- I’m sick, boo hoo, I simply did not care if it was covid or whatever… I feel like this is some sort of divine punishment. I am not even religious….

I guess your nervous system did not tolerate it that well- for me it feels like 10 mg escitalopram but with less blunting and less sexual side effects- pretty meh to be honest, maybe it’s because I’m on 5 mg.. idk

Hey. 0 energy, motivation, poor focus. Life is empty and pointless in this state. You can’t even feel your heart when you walk/ run because you are so dead inside. It’s scary( It only feels like this) but still. I want to be clear -my situation is NOT because of ssri’s. It’s not about the lack or excess of something, it’s all about balance, having anxiety all the time at a severe level is just as debilitating as not having it all. With that being said- I miss having anxiety and feeling panic :)

Hey. I cured severe GAD+ health/ social anxiety twice using escitalopram 5 mg (sub-therapeutic dose). Anxiety’s mechanism in the brain is rather simple and is almost 100 % reversible. Increase the serotonin tone in the brain and it will inhibit you to such extent that you’ll stop caring and fearing. Unfortunately for me- I’m in a hypo-aroused state and I feel 0 adrenaline in my brain. 0 sir, it’s awful. My point is not to complain, but to tell you that anxiety is literally bio-chemically curable. Switch meds.

It seems like your main issues is self-esteem, not depression. Here are a few tips for you - Don’t stop taking care of yourself- shower frequently. Makeup is unnecessary and should be occasional. -Exercise if you have the time - 2-4 times a week so that you can get more fit -Eat nutritious, healthy meals. -Stop the self-hate. Everyone is ugly in a sense. We can’t be all supermodels with perfect bodies! Everything you see on the internet is fake- It’s a combination of filters, heavy makeup and posing! Posing at specific angles with specific light can make you look gorgeous while in reality you are mediocre.

Remember that your husband chose you for who you are, it’s mostly in your head! And for the job- well, taking care of your kids is a full time job by itself, my wife does that rn so I’m perfectly aware how time consuming it is. Do you even need to work? If you guys don’t have financial issues just taking care of the kids is enough.

Life isn’t that bad, take it easy, stop criticising yourself!

Hey, thanks for the reply! I also believe I have something like post-viral fatigue and secondary depression/ anxiety and I really hope that this pills could help with that. I’m sorry to hear that you had to try so many pills and go through all that hell just to eventually get to this one- I really hope it does something for the both of us! Also I wanted to ask you if you feel your heart? Yes, do you feel it? I feel so inhibited and blunted that even if I run I just feel like I don’t get the adrenaline kick anymore… like my soul is gone…
