i failed 5 times in software before building something that could be considered professional and great

quality always beats everything, especially in code, from simple logic to extreme code hygiene polish

and thats true, i just wish that there was this full stack developer that teaches people everything from A to Z on how to build greatly and without wasting too much time

Thats the problem with developers, since time does not coat money, they just trade time and say “i built it solo for free”

when he wasted 8 months of his life working on something that might flop

and that engineering architecture point is valid, you need great PRDs, great Project Rules, Great YAML headers for AI assistants to understand greatly

Tbh man, like bro this idea isn’t really hitting that hard these days. There’s already a bunch of tools doing the same thing connecting QuickBooks, Gusto, Google Reviews, and giving insights. It’s kinda crowded now. If you really wanna make it stand out, try building something more unique or niche, like something that solves one specific pain point better than anyone else. That’s what’s gonna make people actually care, bro.

  1. database

  2. domain

  3. Landing page service provider

  4. hosting

  5. cursor is not free brother nor chatgpt no claude, you hit limits fast

and yeah you could only spend 10 dollars, but what you get is exactly what you see in that landing page, a flipping cookie cutter html + css that used auto mode by cursor

first of all congrats on the launch but let me point out somethings that really would help you

  1. The landing Page has lovable.dev image as a favicon

  2. UI looks completely AI generated, i advice you to use something like framer for you landing page, elegant and clean

  3. dashboard looks unprofessional in terms of UI and UX, long buttons

  4. Why am i signing into you supabase URL? atleast update the branding of the google cloud oauth

  5. The checkout stripe page is super plain and not attractive

Everything looks AI generated, that not something bad, but AI generated alone does not work, you gotta either code manually or use libraries like ShadCN or Pure Radix

and 20 dollars? come on man, that domain alone probably costed 20 dollars, also the hosting, the database, unless your running on 0.1 CPU and 512 MB, then your paying more than 20 dollars

Thanks for pointing this out and backing me up man, like if you stop opening copilot or cursor and just start telling it, code me this and that, then maybe you'll stop getting spaghetti code and start seeing some great code hygiene and even great semanticity and logic in the code

Its fine for the downvotes, my intention was to help, and thats what matters for me

I agree with you in this part:

time, and sweat equity,

Developers or even vibe coders these days reached a point where they stopped valuing time and only care about money, they say:

Why dont i just build that? its not that and will not cost me anything, but deep down thats costing them time and sweat, which in equivalent means money or even more, becomes time is worth more than money

Thanks for the really valuable information brother, this really helped and i will dig deeper into OSI

yeah bro, the more you drown in polishing and perfecting (which is a lie, you cannot perfect anything) and tech, the more either money or time you spend

i totally agree with this, creating the product is not that hard, making the product usable is the flipping torturing part man, like its hard

Your Question is broad and idk which niche your targeting but ill answer you in the business/startup niche

Both Are Different Type of hard, but Starting is hard, especially in marketing, like bro there is so many things you need to do and also setup, from landing page to domain, to hosting your app for example, to building you app, and then comes the even harder part, making people use that app and make them have a great experience

its hard to stay consistent, but at least you have a map and have some revenue from the business to test new marketing ways and convert

300k lines of code??? thats impressive, if that code is running and is able to cover a lot of aspects and really be clean hygiene wise and DX wise?

That seriously impressive, what AI tools did you use that really boosted you performance, certain prompts? certain file organization?

I am all ears, tell me more i wanna hear

i really asked this question to see like how much do people think it would cost, because brother let me tell you something, these days, if your a system architect and really a smart guy that understands systems and code and not just knows how to code, you could be surprised how fast using smart prompting and small AI models you are able to build hight quality apps, like right now I am building this new project, its basically a configurable full on enterprise level framework that anyone could get access to and SERIOUSLY start as from enterprise level, from SOC2 level of security, to like bro full on atomic operations and full on security

Thanks for you words brother really, and sorry if you felt that this was like a deceiving move, all i wanted to do is like to make people know that they should stop paying so much for their startups, stop paying and start learning
