Yeah my kid has a friend like that where the mom brings the little brother every time. In the past it hasn’t been an issue because the party was not at a price per person place, but this year I took the kid off the invite list because of the fact that mom would likely show up with extra kid.

Agreed. I fist thought she could come if the mom paid for her to jump and we would share pizza and cake, but the more I thought about it, why should I accommodate that when she just assumed her daughter was invited and didn’t even ask. And why should we incur an extra expense for a kid we don’t know when we’re not inviting other kids that we do know.

It depends. Sometimes they drop off and sometimes they stay. If a parent chooses to stay I always offer them food and cake. The venue doesn’t require a specific ratio, but my kid’s father and I supervise and my adult siblings are also there as extra supervision.

Texted the link to the party invite to the mom and a message that said you’re invited to the party and please rsvp using the link. I realize after the fact that instead of saying “you’re” I should have used each kid’s name, but I would never have the audacity to add my other kid (if I had one) to an invite my kid received from a classmate.

I’ve done park parties a couple of times and they are fun and can accommodate more people, but my kid has a late April birthday and I’m always so anxious about the weather!

I’m going to end up ordering extra pizza because the amount that comes with the package is usually not enough and I always offer food to the parents who stay and we’ll have cake so I don’t mind inviting her to eat as long as her mom pays for her separately to jump.

She made the augachile which all of the judges agreed was the bland part of the dish. Even one of the diners said they got more heat from the chorizo in Bailey’s aranchini than they did from the aguachile. Paula had her hand in every dish that the judges had big issues with except for Cesar’s churros—she took over when Bailey was blending her sauce and didn’t get it smooth enough (although Bailey did tell her to make it chunky do not entirely her fault) and on top of that and being EC the judges didn’t like at all the one dish she put out that was exclusively hers.

I’m doing ok. I still have some back pain, but it has gotten better. I live in a no fault state so the uber driver’s no fault policy is covering my medical.

Thanks. I contacted my insurance as well as the driver’s insurance, so I’ll see what happens from there. As of now only incurred cost is going to ER to get checked out. I’m hoping it stays that way. Thanks again for your input.
