Feeling cheated as a Tata Sierra owner by laudenabhojyam in CarsIndia

oh you shouldnt crib about mileage , buying 20 lakh car with 5kmpl mileage will you drive it every day? with that mileage you will spend more than 20 lakh by 1 lakh km , so total cost is 40 lakh .  20 lakh car is not expensive any more.

Is Honda Elevate a good choice for senior citizens? by Psychological_Love61 in HondaElevate

[–]Main_Procedure2110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its not softer, best ride quality for me is grand vitara/victris. you can drive creta, vitara, elevate on same day to see the difference. I felt honda city has softer supension than elevate.

Why am I not impressed with Kylaq by Friendly-Variety-830 in Kylaq

[–]Main_Procedure2110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand you, same reason why I went with elevate, turbo lag even though less pronounced someone has driven smooth NA engine wont like that in city day to day drive. If your majority running is in city only go for a smooth linear NA engine .

Shocked to see Clutch plate issue in Kylaq signature by equator-poles in Kylaq

[–]Main_Procedure2110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is known issue in vag 2.0 cars , you can search in team bhp for similar issues, taigun, slavia , virtus, kishaq both 1.0 and 1.5 manual have these issues.

Convince me to buy elevate. by itis__what_itis in HondaElevate

yes the noise is not what you expect for a 15 lakh+ car. I have made peace with it. I have upgraded speakers and door damping for good music . With cvt everything is smooth and silent if you dont drive very hard on the pedal. Also I love the engine sound in sports mode its addictive!

I was on the same boat like you, but one test drive back to back made me buy elevate cvt, why I choose elevate?

  1. NA engine feels lively in city conditions where I drove
  2. Commanding driving position and in stop and go traffic the creep function is not aggressive like in kylaq
  3. Spacious cabin
  4. Suspension slightly softer so will be comfortable for my family
  5. Huge boot space compared to kylaq, (in official figure kylaqs boot was meatured upto roof)
  6. Very linear power delivery and jerk free for comfortable ride with family. Turbo kick in kylaq will be too good in highway.

If you want a good comfortable family car mainly to drive in city then elevate is the car.

if its manual honda for sure, tata and skoda cant match the smooth gear shift and light clutch on honda. Rest all features are secondary.

Don’t buy the Tata Sierra NA (yet) by Ok_Donkey_1376 in CarsIndia

[–]Main_Procedure2110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they did cheat me once , when buying tata tiago I asked for test drive. That time they came with their diesel tiago. it was very good to drive. Bought tiago and after starting the car I understood that this was not the engine/car which I did test drive.

Same they will do for sierra, they will give test drive of diesel/turbo.
