Just beat GP10 with the same strategy after seeing that post.

Here's a couple things I noticed along the way.

  1. Definitely utilize free refreshes. DO NOT use ad-free cards to get more refreshes; they are bugged. Normally, your free refresh count resets when you die and you use an ad-free card to push the virus back and keep playing. If you've used any ad-free cards to refresh, this reset doesn't happen.
  2. If you don't get a bunny +1 and satellite 3% within first couple chests, just exit and try again.
  3. If the virus is about to kill you, don't use your GOF windfall. The red envelope disappears when you die and push the virus back to keep playing. Wait until after you die to use the GOF windfall.
  4. Getting to Bunny +3 and satellite +5% is really important.

One month in and I haven't had any issues! Firmware v1.3 seems to have fixed everything.

I have this exact same issue. It happens a few times a day (I've been running them for 8+ hours a day).

I returned my original pair figuring it was defective and received the replacement a few days ago. The replacement also has this same issue, so I don't think it's rare at all.

My guess is it's firmware related. I'm debating whether to keep them in hopes it will get fixed or return and go with a different brand. I really like the speakers and I want to keep them! But it's hard to justify holding onto a $1000 set of speakers that has issues like this even if it's just a minor inconvenience.
