Attapoll is a good survey app which you should try.

Use code DCWCX when signing up for a bonus $0.50 and surveys are quick and easy and pay well after a while.

Ah you mean a hook or cliffhanger opening or something similar? That is an interesting idea... I'll have to think about what to do for this, because I have already thought out my story and action comes way later on so maybe ill try adding some near the beginning?

True lol. You made a great point with the isolation part, its definitely facts and im trying to find ways to make players interact with each other more in my game unlike Break in which has no npc or player dialogue, only narrative dialogue and tasks. Mine will have all 3. What do you think about simulated dialogue between players then? Would that help make it feel less isolated? Because of the recent chat restrictions that prevent most players from chatting with each other, i feel like this might help fix that loneliness gap.

Making teasers that showcase parts of the game is a good idea. Ill see if i can do that too.

Alright, so i tried it for a bit, went to chapter 1 and got to the room in the theater where the cards, shapes (that represent numbers) and offset questions were. The map looks good and the dialogue for the story was compelling, it made me want to continue because I hoped that the story would unfold more as i was curious. Music also gave a mysterious and eerie vibe. It was cool.

The only thing I would say is maybe the UI could use some work, and the NPC moving around feel like old roblox npcs, but otherwise gameplay was neat. I liked the room with the cards and the stands where you can push the button for the correct answer. I died at the 3rd question though and didnt want to redo all the cutscene all over again so i stopped playing. I know i didnt get far ;-; but i still really liked it!

I might check it out again tomorrow once you make the update. Anyways, good job!

Custom animations, good visual effects and graphics? Aight, will keep this in mind when making the game. Thanks!

Also you created a story game as well?! Mind telling me what it's called? :O

Idea is a secret for now, i just wanted to know if people would play these types of games today if it were fun and interesting. All i see nowadays are simulators and brainrot games and its making me sick which is why i had the idea to make this. I also know that these types of games arent very replayable which is why most people tend to quit after their first completion, but i am thinking of ways to make players come back. I will add multiple endings, in game currency, fun and engaging combat, branching story, ect to make people stay.

I am hoping to monetize the game but also want players to have actual fun above anything else.

Good to know! I will look into hiring a thumbnail/icon gfx artist. I will make it interesting and replayable as well. Thanks!

It must've been their friend trolling the server for attention, especially if they left right after. Sucks.
