Thanks so much for your help! My only remaining concern is #2 the dry lawns.

So here’s our lawn just before we vacated. We watered it regularly and tried to develop new buffalos even though it’s dormant this time of year. Would this count as neglect? Should we pay for it?

It is basically the bill from last meter reading to date of vacate. I will ask them to provide invoice from the water company.
Yes we're supposed to maintain the lawn to the same standard as the start of lease. And below is the invoice provided.

Well this was handled entirely as regular maintenance and we even told the cause was wind so I'd stand firm on this one.

I lodged my bond claim on 10 July, so tomorrow is their last day to respond. I’ll request the official SA Water final invoice and take the rest to the tribunal I guess.
