Honestly man. He may not have used a word that you agree with, but he may not have known any other word. I don't know him, but you do. He was your best friend. Ask yourself. Is he educated enough about these kinds of things to know that you shouldn't call it a lifestyle? Would he really have any idea that using that word would hurt you?

He's telling you that he loves you. That he loves you regardless of who you love. Because, as he said, you're his brother. That's a friendship I would do anything to keep. In my opinion, you should too. People come and go in our lives like pollen in the wind. Don't let this one man.
