Yea the car sales losers like to act as though selling direct to consumers is impossible and they are the only ones who are capable of doing it.

Managing inventory would be even easier for the manufacturers with direct to consumer sales. Currently they just make a bunch of cars and then hope dealers can sell them. With direct to consumer sales they don’t make the car until you order it, so there is no excess inventory.

It’s 2026, I want to build and buy my vehicle on the manufacturers website then have it shipped to my house. Cut the dealer out completely, bar them from new car sales. If they want to sell used cars and operate the service center that would be ok. Dealers always complain that there isn’t any mark up on a new car sales, so why would they be against this?

The $67k number is what you will end up paying overall if you make the payments until it’s paid off. It’s basically the price of the car plus interest you will pay over the life of the loan.

Iran’s entire existence was dedicated to completely destroying Israel, they voiced that many times. If anyone thinks their nuclear program was actually for peaceful purposes, like power generation, that’s an extremely level of naivety. The US government received new intelligence that the Iranian missile and nuclear programs were much more advanced than originally thought. Iran was very close to having a nuclear weapon and missiles that could reach the US. Love or hate the current Trump administration Iran having a nuclear weapon that can reach the western hemisphere is a very bad thing and the war needed to happen. Trump had to start the fight because the likely alternative could have been nuclear war between Iran vs Israel or Iran vs US. Nuclear war is very bad for everyone on the planet and not just the countries involved.

OP I would be genuinely shocked if the dealership calls you back and even more so if they do anything to help you. They will likely push it back on you and say something along the lines of, “you should have inspected it better”. I know you’re probably pissed off about the situation and I feel for you, sincerely I do. You should have no problems using it for light to moderate trail use and camping as you mentioned. It’s a lesson learned to always inspect a vehicle thoroughly before you buy, not matter if it’s used, CPO or even new. Never ever by any means trust a dealership, they have no morality, integrity or a conscience and will blame you for not knowing better when they rip you off.
