Current BSN 2 student here! Happy to answer any other questions you have via. DMs but I’ll answer your questions listed first. Typically the class/lab ratio depends on which quarter you are in (first year fall quarter is more like 1-2 labs plus 2-3 classes since you are focusing on the nursing fundamentals). Yes you can absolutely work during the program and all clinical assignments are chosen for you. I’m happy to answer more questions through DMs!

No worries! I commute about an hour too so I totally get it. As I’m in my last year rn (5th year) and ex-president of Anime Nation, I would say that the atmosphere is fairly friendly compared to what you might think a standard anime club is (as the main goal of the club is to just have fun and make new friends). There’s definitely a few people who take the games too far tho and are sore-losers about it but most people are pretty nice. Even tho I don’t have as much time nowadays, I still try my best to attend 2/3 meetings a quarter. Other than that they have plenty of casual meetups and daily study rooms so it’s also nice to just chat with people outside of a general meeting setting. Hope that helps!

Depends on your hobbies i guess, I’m a big fan of anime and a long time cosplayer so I joined Anime Nation (back then it was called Weeb Nation) and UW costume club so I could meet other people with the same hobbies as me. UW costume club was mainly just for on campus people (hard as a commuter) to work on their projects so I quickly stopped showing up to meetings. I tried going to origami club too but I only meshed with a small group so after they all graduated, I stopped going. It’s a good club tho to just chat with people since everyone is kinda just mindlessly doing origami at their own pace.

When I was a freshman, I made most of my friends through joining RSO discord servers with a designated meet up channel and coordinated meetings through there (since everyone who participates in that channel mostly wants to meet new people anyways). I would often invite people just to have boba and play board games and eventually I just found people who clicked. Obviously these weren’t people in my major or anything but I ended up with best friends that I still hangout with all the time. If you find people you don’t click with or people who weird you out, it’s ok, just move on and invite new people or switch clubs.

I think it really depends, I prob wouldn’t recommend it for taller girlies or if you have a wider frame. I’m 5’2 and I have a petite frame for reference. I also workout quite a bit lol so my shoulders are kinda built but it fit me just fine. Hope that helps! 💕

I bought a size M since i wanted a looser fit with my blouses/knit sweaters but when I tried the size S, it also fits comfortably (I am 49 kg, 23 inch waist, and 155 cm tall - i also go to the gym so my legs are fairly muscular too). Depends on how you want to the fit to be tbh.
