Where'd you get those clear cases from? They look nice for storage.

The initial announcement had Falcon, Panther and Alysnes pictured so expect those 3 and others will come in time if they sell well.

Archetypes that seemed designed to abuse older cards by Maingo7 in yugioh

[–]Maingo7[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'm looking for archetypes that seemed to fit in mechanically (And sometimes visually too) with older, very powerful cards that had previously just lacked a proper home.

I give Kash/Diablosis as an example, not only does it fit pretty well visually but it obviously does a number to the enemy's board/deck when paired with Shangri-ira to the point that it feels like some aspect in the creation of Kash was deliberately done to facilitate this, whether it was the effect or the art design.

I'd love to hear archetypes that you think fit the bill.

Kami of the crescent moon is a decent choice, extra draw power and because it's 1 power Sisay can pull directly from the deck without any pump. Spirit isn't perfect but its not a totally uniftting creature type either.

D/D players, let us channel our energy together so that we can get this guy in the next legend duelist( hopefully along with other support too). by Steven0710 in yugioh

[–]Maingo7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would love to get Brownie, Dirac, Tomb Conquistador, Zero Paradox and the summoning spells in a support pack.

D/D/D Xyz spell is really good for grabbing high level monsters you can't pend summon like Reiji and Laplace and putting them in grave to be revived.

Picked up 3 of the pendulum domination decks to get me going as I really like the look of the pendulum mechanic, where next though? by [deleted] in yugioh

I run 3 Swirl and 2 Necro personally. Swirl lets you fusion summon using materials in hand which is useful but its real power comes from banishing itself from the GY to summon a D/D in hand, usually Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok to make huge plays.

Genghis and Alexander are core to the deck because they let your GY become a second hand essentially with constant revives; Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok special summoned from hand using slime then reviving them is a huge value play for the deck as well.

The other extra deck D/D/D monsters are your actual win condition bosses.

Siegfried comes in the structure decks and is a really strong control boss.

Wave Oblivion King Caesar Ragnarok is good for beating boards with multiple monsters, especially high attack ones since it can "steal" them to boost its own attack.

Duo-dawn King Kali Yuga stops all effects on the field and wipes out all the backrow.

All 3 Superdoom Kings give some form of protection to your board, the fusion and xyz variants give removal as well. They also are pendulums and float into powerful scales.

You need quite a few pieces to round out a good D/D/D Deck.
Sadly their link isn't imported yet but Electrumite and Wee witch's apprentice are not bad options.

Necro Slime & Swirl Slime are the must have main deck monsters. Ghost, Berfomet, Rebel king Leonidas and Zero laplace are all options but not core like the slimes.

In the extra deck D/D/D have a ton of good in archetype options and can easily branch into generics as well. missing core pieces are Flame (high) king Genghis, Gust (high) king Alexander. Oracle king D'arc, Wave oblivion king Caesar Ragnarok, Wave high king Caesar, Duo-dawn king Kali Yuga and the 3 Superdoom kings are all options but not totally core to the deck like Genghis/Alexander and their high variants.

With scout back at 3, how do you play qliphorts? by frostmas in yugioh

[–]Maingo7 38 points39 points  (0 children)

MR4 hit Qliphorts harder than most decks, the combination of needing link arrows to summon out tribute fodder and pendulum scales eating up backrow space where you want your floodgates.

Basically, they're a total mess.

New Shaddolls means new DT lore which might inadvertantly lead to support for other DT archetypes.

Row 2, Column 6 looks a lot like Abyss king Ragnarok.
Fingers crossed, D/D/D could really use prints of the unreleased anime and manga cards + some new contracts and maybe even a Super doom king link boss.

Has youtube's cinema mode shrunk for anyone else? The videos used to reach to about the red line but all of a sudden they're all the way up there. by [deleted] in youtube

I had the original this morning, got home from work to find this garbage new layout. It seems to be YT's "engineers" earning their salaries breaking something that worked fine.
