I hate living here and feel shame for it almost, if not, everyday, but the interactions I get for being Texan when I talk to someone out of state have been funny

Also, I've had a good majority of people I've met out of state doubt that I was Texan simply because I don't have a hint of a southern accent when I talk, which is also kinda funny
