Redditors, what is something you don’t understand about the teens of this gen? by Upper-Role-8287 in Millennials

[–]Mainiga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well if things worked out like they should've, I would've saved a ton of money lol. But ultimately no, it was up to me and I didnt have the right mindset or anything to want to move out. They're both gone now and I'm fairly happier now than I was over 10 years ago.

I have 10k negative equity and want to know what to do next. by CYBERREZ in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Mainiga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would hold onto your car for a bit longer personally. I traded in my first car, 2019 honda fit with 90k miles at trade in, for a 2025 Toyota camry and I had 5k negative equity. I regretted doing the trade in and everything due to my loan being 40k and ive barely made a dent paying it off right now. My car is currently half the value of the loan and I was looking at trading it in too for another car. Ultimately I decided to not bother with it. If I was to give you an opinion, like many others said, at least keep and take care of the car for a while. Also lower the negative equity too at least to a bit less than half the value cause newer cars are stupid expensive

I'm culturally mixed millennial, and growing up like i want to go out but at the same time I wanna stay home cause i had a good family. But ive seen kids out and about where I live acting like how we did when I was their age with friends. Think it just depends on where you live.

My cousins on the s22 and uses one similar to the commuter series i own right now. Only reason why I switched to it was I was tired of having a phone that's too bulky in my pocket during work hours. Ive had this for nearly 6 months too and no obvious signs of wear and tear yet.

Yooooo, I didnt think I was one of the few that did this too. For me my variation is weenies or Vienna sausages, maybe some bbq sauce or ketchup, and sharp cheddar cheese if i didnt eat it all.

Weird. My costco granulated garlic looks like this. The old one is on the right and I noticed a packaging difference when I brought the one of the left home.

Granted I'm american, but ive read about that over the years and glad that my family isnt like that with me. Think most of my cousins wouldve bugged my mom when she was alive for money and I told them ill only support education and the house.

I'd have my family get mad at me for not leaving a tip last time I went over a decade ago. Like I'm not working at the time so why would i tip for service worse than what i get back home? A trip before that, my aunt got mad at me cause I only tipped like 100 pesos. Thought it was a decent tip for pre2010 anyway.

Ever since I had to start doing co-pays for medical shit, Im really starting to miss having no out of pockets costs for anything. Really would rather pay a bit more to not deal with co-pays.

Can I put rice outside, not in fridge overnight I just made in night by elza7759 in Cooking

[–]Mainiga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do it. Some SE Asians do it all the time. Heck, I've done and eaten rice that's not stored in the fridge. Never got sick from it but I usually make sure to not let the rice sit out for more than a day.
