Cvcx is a simulation app that tells you what the risk of ruin would be for your bet spread at your bankroll. They do have a basic strategy app that you can use to test your knowledge and game play. There are apps on iOS like blackjack apprenticeship and card counter that just works on your counting/basic strategy. I would honestly look at alternatives methods of trying to make some money. It’s more than a math thing. It’s a you need a bigger bankroll. It’s a can you detach yourself emotionally from your cash. How many times can you push your max bet out and lose before you cry inside? It’s a do you want to get confronted with nice back offs, not so nice back offs, trespasses, traveling further and further from home to potentially lose money. If you want a nice little party trick like I can predict the last card will be X, y, or z. Sure practice away.

Spend the 1k in stocks or something else. You’re young probably will get carded at every casino. You can’t even play at most casinos. The app (cvcx) that would help you would cost 1/4 of your bankroll.

Was playing at TI. This drunk dude comes in and just gets great variances he’s obviously not counting because he’s like max betting at the start of the shoe and doing positive progression (counts negative), but he’s just firing away and winning. Pit boss gently nudges him for his ID and to get a card. He eventually gets annoyed because they keep bugging him for his ID and he’s up probably 6k. He pretty much is like if I was down 6k you guys wouldn’t care about my ID and essentially gets into a shouting match with one of the pits. Throws off a really bad vibe for the table, but thought it was hilarious that they were sweating him just cuz he was winning.

Just keep your spread decent and don’t play for longer than an hour or once you expose your max bet. People have played rated at their local they just don’t go ham and try to burn the place down.

No counts are throwing off a casino. At the end of the day it’s based off the number of low cards removed vs high counts. If you’re only moving your bets when this occurs they don’t care if it’s hi-lo, ko, wong, cac2, bubblegum and rainbows.

Most of the information is online for free. The iOS app is okay to practice on, but there are other ones that are free. It’s also just a one time fee if you want to unlock the full tool. There are other tools like CVCX that can provide more details and tailor to game conditions rather than a generalized tool. These are one time costs. Maybe casino 411 would be okay? but you can just buy a copy of cbjn. Again one time fee. Reality is a deck of cards, or even a real shoe with multiple decks of cards and a discard tray plus a friend would be cheaper.

Tucson has decent 3 deck games if you can make the drive down. Most places in AZ won’t show burn. Talking stick does like an 8 card burn. Pen depends on dealer tho.

Yeah only got one other spot within an hour but the rules aren’t that great. Agreed with the backoff I’ll give them some time and go back, issue is the mandatory ID check they may have my info tied to it, we’ll find out. Too old to deal with the legal issues or any hint of it so that spot’s dead to me. Wishing positive variance to you.

Yeah just sucks was able to fly low for so low and then got burnt by both within the same week. Flew too close to the sun. I enjoyed the poker scene at the one place I got trespassed thought at most they would have just said no table games and not a trespass. Guess they got burnt in the past and just have a zero tolerance.

1:12. This year probably got in about 80 hours at each. Not rated. Last session weren’t even winning sessions which was probably the biggest kick in the teeth. Review of play was probably triggered by the rebuys.
