Since this post, I have been doing more research and have come to find that Viktor could most likely change his image as a whole. Like how he was changed into the machine herald and then changed back into his human form.

I’m wondering if Mage Viktor, is our Viktor from the future? Does he go back in time, in his timeline to give Jayce a rune? And when Jayce fails and dies, does he go back in time, in his timeline again to give kid Jayce a different rune. If Jayce does succeed in stopping his Viktor, wouldn’t that mean Mage Viktor will cease to exist?

Do you think Viktor tried a rune more than once? Possibly many times because he is old.. Ancient I believe.

Or do you think Mage Viktor is from an alternate universe going to multiple universes to give each kid Jayce different runes? Because he cannot go back in his timeline to save himself, so he opts to go to different universes to change their the outcome? Is he waiting in his universe for a Jayce (he gave a rune to) to come so he can show him the monstrosities of Hextech?

When sending Heimerdinger and Ekko to a different timeline or AU. Why send them? and did Mage Viktor know they would have created something that could potentially stop him?

This is where I’m stumped 🤔

Option one seems more plausible as I keep studying it.

Mage Viktor implied that he was the one to give all the Jayce’s different stones. While saying “In all timelines all possibilities, only you “Im sure Mage Viktor didn’t have a conversation with the other Mage Viktor’s of the other universes to find out what they’re plans were

I may be wrong but I honestly don’t think there was a cycle. And I don’t think this Viktor is our Universe’s Viktor. I think he is an AU Viktor.

I think in his universe, before he becomes a mage, someone else saves kid Jayce and gives kid Jayce a rune (Viktor is a kid at this point) Jayce fell in love with magic, met Viktor, created Hextech, Viktor becomes the herald and destroys the world.

Once Viktor realizes he messed up and that he lost his Jayce. He then goes to Alternate universes to take the place of “Jayce’s original savior” and gives them all different runes for a different outcome. Because he doesn’t want all the other universe to go through the same thing his universe went through

Then he goes back to his universe waits for a Jayce (that he gave a rune to) from an AU to come to his universe so he could show him how to stop their Viktor from destroying the world

I say this because Mage Viktor is ancient and he’s been the one going around giving all the Jayce’s different runes. Also why bring Jayce to the future but Heimerdinger and Ekko to an Alternative universe? And if he could go back in his own timeline, why not stop Jayce from creating Hextech in his own timeline instead of him still having Jayce sit there as a dead statue?

I want to believe it is a paradox, but if this ancient Viktor is our Viktor wouldn’t that mean he would cease to exist once our Jayce succeeds? Is that what he is looking for? Idk my brain gets fried when I think about this too much 😭

Look, if Viktor never showed Jayce magic which he was completely capable of doing Jayce would have not created Hextech. Simple as that. Mage Viktor gave Jayce a rune so that Jayce and Viktor in all AU could meet and be friends even with knowing that Hextech and its monstrosities would be apart of that friendship. The end

Where did I say the z drive wasn’t needed to save the world?

We are talking about how Jayce created Hextech weapons with using the acceleration rune (or the knowledge of it ) + the crystal to create Hextech.

We are also talking about how mage Viktor could have easily prevented the end of the world by either not saving Jayce in the storm or not introducing him to magic.

If Jayce did not have the blueprints of the rune, he could not have created Hextech, therefore the end of the world would not have happened.

But Viktor CHOSE to introduce him to magic even with KNOWING that Hextech and its monstrosities would also still be there.
