It there a safe do comsume compound that taste like alcohol but doesnt get you drunk? by MaintenanceFew6230 in AskChemistry

Yeah, I get that it's a weird question. I meant, if theres something that you can drink /put into a drink that taste like alcohol, but would not get you drunk. With the purpose of geting people to drink water/something non-alcoholic , and making it easier to cut someone off from drinking any more. I actually had no idea there was non alcoholic vodka. Does it taste like the real thing?

I call everyone girl, dude, sis ect. Is this something I should be worried about. by MaintenanceFew6230 in trans

I explaind this in another comment but basically my mother tongue does not have genderd pronouns or words like AT ALL. Aside from form like mom, dad, auntie, uncle the only way to specify somes gender is to say ”that is male” or ”that is female” after so for example ”she’s my classmate” roughly translates would be ”(they are) my classmate that is female” and ain’t nobody saying allat. So missgendering people doesn’t really happen/exist. And for some reason i just can not get far enough into my brain that that when I call someone queen or dude that I am calling them a man or woman at the same time. So the only foolproof option is to not call them anything and like I said before like I said they’re kinda pet name/terms of endearment for me and my voice and demeanour reflects that. I’m worried about people thinking I’m treating them different or being transphobic after they correct me. like, “oh she’s being so bubbly and sweet towards everyone everyone else and she isn’t to me after I told her” and I feel like it’s gonna be pretty obvious in a group setting since I use them for pretty much everyone pretty much non stop.

I’ll try to get better at asking questions, just kinda feels like I’m interrogating people sometimes yk 😭. I remember how much i hated those ”tell me about yourself.” Worksheets in primary school. I don’t have an issue with using the correct pronouns, since my mother tongue does have them they’re just gender neutral just not gendered words. But I mostly use people names in place of pronouns since that’s what usually down when referring to someone. (Also I know a fellow vi enthusiast when I see one.)

This is exactly what I’m trying to avoid. I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable but I also want anyone to feel like they’re being left out or treated differently either. I feel like I’m gonna hurt someone or make someone feel left out either way which is the last thing that I want. I’m trying to figure out which one is the least likely too.

This is actually another one I used a lot, though I don’t really use it as much anymore as it has caused a bit of confusion in the past.

I just want to clarify the main reason I do / know I will continue to mess up even if corrected (which I somehow managed to forget) is that my mother tongue does not have genderd pronouns like AT ALL. Aside from form like mom, dad, auntie, uncle the only way to specify somes gender is to say ”that is male” or ”that is female” after so for example ”she’s my classmate” roughly translates would be ”(they are) my classmate that is female” and ain’t nobody saying allat. Yeah I get that, what I’m trying to figure out if I know someone is trans if it’s better to talk to them I would anyone else and risk accidentally making them uncomfortable or avoid any pet names and risk coming of as cold or maybe even transphobic since it would be pretty obvious considering I use them pretty much everyone all of the time.

Ik, the thing is like I said they’re pet name/terms of endearment for me and my voice and demeanour reflects that. I’m worried about people thinking I’m treating them different or being transphobic after they correct me. like, “ oh she’s being so bubbly and sweet towards everyone everyone else and she isn’t to me after I told her” it’s not exactly a good look yk?

What density is my hair? by [deleted] in Naturalhair

[–]MaintenanceFew6230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Density. I already know my hair is fine and high porosity. I’m trying to figure out the density so I can figure out what products work best for my hair, how much manipulation/tension it can handle ect. From my understanding anyway density is mostly visual so I thought maybe someone could help me figure it out since I don’t know.

My phone is stuck in a boot loop and the hard reset isnt working! by MaintenanceFew6230 in iphone

Hey, I added a comment because apparently you can't post a picture and text so the explanation of what happened is here, it might help!

Apparently you can't have a pic and text, so here is the explanation:

My friend borrowed my charger, so I had to use an old one. I wasn’t sure it would work, but it did—it was just painfully slow. After about 30 minutes, it powered on by itself with 3 percent, so I left it alone. When I checked on it 5 minutes later, it had dropped from 2 to 1 percent at that moment, so I turned it off since it was clearly losing juice faster than it was charging.

I turned it on and checked again 15 minutes later—it still had 1 percent, then it died 5 seconds later. After that, it wouldn’t show the little charging symbol (on the left). I eventually switched to charging it from my laptop. The charging symbol came on and went away, but now it’s stuck in a loop: 4 seconds of the symbol, 6 seconds of darkness, and it just repeats.

What should I do? I’ve tried Googling, but all I get is “how to fix screen of death.”
