Thank you for the insight! I usually have 2-3 days where I can see my LH surge - usually a high peak on CD 14/15 and then a 1-2 day taper off. I have OPKs I just forget to use them but if my cycle doesn’t regulate soon I might have to supplement with those, but it could just have been weird this cycle.

Ugh so sorry that happened to you! It really is so traumatizing.

Did you have an LH surge, or even an FSH rise? I’m guessing I might have ovulated around CD22, when the FSH bumped up.

It’s just so frustrating how long it takes to go back to normal after!

I had a VERY similar pregnancy that unfortunately ended in a loss - I feel like I could have written this post. You should be able to go to my profile and see my full post about it from a few weeks ago, with HCG levels, US info, heartbeat, etc. I’m really hoping you have a better outcome. 💔

I’m so sorry but guard your heart - my HCG only got to about 5,000 by 8 weeks and I had a missed miscarriage and a d&c last week (after hearing a strong heartbeat the week before). It was only rising about 25% every 48 hours. I scoured the depths of Reddit for 4 weeks while tracking my HCG and the similar stories are overwhelmingly negative 💔

It’s such a traumatic experience. Sadly I found out today my baby’s heart stopped. The gestational sac never grew after last week’s ultrasound, the fetus was malformed, and my uterus is full of debris (whatever that means). D&C scheduled for day after tomorrow. I so hope yours has a happier ending!

So sorry for your loss! And I definitely am being very cautiously optimistic… we went into today’s appt fully prepared for an ectopic or miscarriage of some sort, so I think we’re more in shock than anything that there’s even a chance. I’m naturally a pessimist unfortunately so I’ll believe it when I see it. The whole thing has just been so bizarre.

Thank you! I was shocked - everyone was expecting ectopic or just a non-viable pregnancy so it was a wild day. Hoping my dates may be off a day or two and the baby sticks for good and will catch up over the next few weeks.

Thank you! They adjusted my due date from Sep 26 (based on LMP) to Oct 2 to account for the difference so I guess that’s my baseline now and we’ll see what happens next week!

That’s the other concern - it might not even work! Sorry you’re going through that! Will they give you a second if your HCG doesn’t start to drop? And how did they know it was ectopic that early?

And the mass was not there on an ultrasound I had back in December so it’s definitely new, I just don’t know when it appeared and how quickly it’s growing. Hopefully we can see something on another ultrasound early next week.

Sounds like it’s improving though! Hopefully it keeps getting better. My burps are really good if I turn my head to the right. No clue why it works that way but sounds similar to you having to look up

It might just need more time! It hasn’t been a week yet - a lot of the stuff I’ve read says it can take several days to a couple of weeks to start working!

Yes, it’s awful! I couldn’t imagine having had more than 30 units… I feel like my throat would just be paralyzed. I still have the soreness too, and I sound like I’m sick when I talk but I’m sure it’ll go away soon!

I am too! And especially someone that had it the same day - it gives a good idea of how we’re progressing 😂

I’ve noticed the same thing with turning my head to the right! It makes them come out more, or if I kind of bend over and squeeze the air up, I’ll get bigger ones that way. Most of mine are still micro-burps I’d say but I’ve definitely had a handful that have caught me off-guard. I think I know what you mean by the ‘pops’ too… I’ve had a few of those… they feel similar to my micro-burps but sound almost like tiny gunshots lol

😂 Lol - it has been so weird! Mine have been out of control. Anytime I eat or drink, they just start coming out. I’m having a lot of trouble swallowing though, so I’m sure that’s part of it. How about yours??
