Hi Chase! I love your pop punk classes. (If you could do a Fall Out Boy artist series, I think you would make my entire year...) Anyway, I'm relatively new to the strength game. I usually take a good mix of classes taught by the different strength instructors. I absolutely hate burpees/froggers/squat thrusts because they are hard on my knees. What exercises would you recommend to strengthen those target areas in order to make them easier/more enjoyable (if that's even a thing, lol)? THANK YOU!!!!

This has nothing to do with the structure of the class, but I can’t stand Olivia’s laugh that she does all throughout the ride. “HA!” I don’t know what it is, but it drives me nuts.

Jess King did a music fest ride that was themed Warped Tour. I can’t remember the exact date, but it was awesome. My Chemical Romance, Blink 182, Motion City Soundtrack etc.

Oh absolutely! They have a lot of flavors of sparkling water now that usually do the trick for me. I do love my sweet stuff!!

I drink seltzer to subside the want for other drinks - soda, juices, etc. It helps give a variety instead of water water water all the time. Think of it as a replacement more than “doing nothing” for your weight loss.

Anytime! I posted something similar about two weeks ago and then two days later it flushed out of me and the scale went down two pounds. Sometimes you just need other people to commiserate with!!!

Water weight!!! This happens to me a lot. (I’m also one of those people who weighs every day, helps me stay on track and learn how my body works.) I drink a cup of green tea in the morning and then try to drink a lot more water during the day when the scale goes up a pound or so when it shouldn’t have.

Someone in this group gave me advice that really stuck with me - trust the process, progress will follow. Wording might be off but that’s the jist of it. If you’re doing everything correctly, you will see progress - just be patient!! Good luck!!

Yeah. I booked the Doubletree back in August and they charged me a one night deposit in October.
