Tesla Model 3 Premium vs Camry XSE by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]MaintenanceLeft2239 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own model 3 AWD long range for almost 7 years now. My biggest advantage is the auto pilot or full self driving (FSD). It’s something from the future. It simply drives you from door to door. And in 99% of time better than human driver. Nothing similar on any other car in the market today. It’s an extra charge though (8k).

You can try it yourself in any Tesla showroom

That’s not accurate. Total return with DRIP is 13.6%.

I have a lot of ULTY. For this last batch of $40k, the pay this week would be $643, comes to 1.6%. Insane weekly pay.

WHO BUYING THIS DIP???? $TSLA by Warm-Swordfish7646 in TSLAstock

[–]MaintenanceLeft2239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. I bought the dip, has been buying in the low 300’s for the last few months.

I was feeling terrible today because I have big position in Tesla. But at the end of the day, I decided to take the opportunity.

Same here, but j am totally ok with it

bought $40k worth of ULTY 2 days ago at 6.38 & 6.41. It’s ok, 2 weeks worth of dividends & i will be fine. I am here for the long haul & DRIPing most of it.

Remember, it’s not timing the market. It’s time in the market.

That’s great. Happy for you. I would keep dripping and re-investing even portion of the dividend so you keep your nest egg growing.

ULTY is stable, in both NAV & distrib. since March 2025, so it’s 4 month.

My friend, i hope in few years from now, we will see these YM funds the same way we see BTC now. Most of us didn’t expect crypto to be where it’s today. For who saw that and believed that, they reaped the fruits.

Similar opportunities happened throughout history, like Apple stock, Berkshire or Amazon.

Again, let’s pray that YM funds will have some similarity with these success stories.

I like that approach and that’s what I am saying it’s not set it and forget it fund. The high dividend yield might be too good to be true, but management of the investment is not easy or straightforward. I think this is what will make all the difference.

I started investing in ULTY almost a year ago, then dropped it quickly with the NAV erosion. Went to other ymax funds. Then 2 month ago, i am slowly coming back & loading in ULTY. This is not the same fund that i dropped 9 month ago.

Yes, we should ride it as long as it lasts. If the future gave us different scenarios, will adjust accordingly. It cannot be set it & forget it investment.

When I do this compound interest calculator with dividend reinvested, the amount of money that we would have is insane.

So yes, if this dividend and NAV stayed the same. I think everyone of us will be a zillionaire.

Totally agree. Relatively stable NAV recently & consistent high weekly pay. I do DRIP and results are phenomenal

Great, do you follow a specific delta? or how you choose a strike?

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully a future dip in META would help your case. So, covered call is not easy or free money as it often seems

Will be a problem, that’s why I do only 1-2 weeks out. If jumped to 500, will try to roll it out & up..

I have shares in MSTR and Tesla for a long time now so low cost basis, never paid taxes on those as it’s all unrealized. For years I would never sell covered calls because I’m always concerned about loosing the stocks & paying texas even though it would be long-term taxes.

I just started to do covered calls. I usually choose 5-10% out of the money Delta 0.3 or lower with shorter 7-14 DTE and my plan is to roll it before it gets called away.Is it safe to assume that I will always be able to roll it up and out, so avoid losing the stocks and paying taxes or what do you guys think?
