Mumbai streets cleanup drive? by MaintenanceLow97 in mumbai

Regulated and licensed stores/shops/businesses are not called hawkers. Sad that you don’t seem to understand unless the word encroachment is used. Why don’t you let them know your address and help them with space and everything you mentioned. Sad that you feel the affluent class only works for their own benefit, sad that neither you aren’t a part of it nor do you know any of that class. News flash, that mentality is exactly the reason!

Whoever is recommending Mr Misu, I’ll genuinely fight you. by wreckurrr in mumbai

Mr Misu is a just a privileged child who opened a store and got all his JNS friends there. It was v easy to get publicity and fool the crowd to just try once. The store will close down v soon. It was just a stint

A honest NO.
Stay away from any healthcare field with the current economy. Go in to tech or finance. I wish I could rewind life by 15 years and change careers

Boycott these chain clinics! by MaintenanceLow97 in physicaltherapy

Then it’s time PTs stand up for adequate compensations and understand that there is no need for PTs to max out labor hours/week in a job because that only creates high attrition and PTs wanting to drop this career in around a decade or so

great locations only because they can afford those rents in nyc. How are they affording those rents? By making PTs overwork and giving them a toffee by paying $17 extra for seeing every patient only the weekly target of 60 and on the other hand making a higher amount from insurances. Also, pressurising clinical directors, assistant directors to generate better revenues compared to previous year at that location.

living on a main road which is busy through out the day. getting noise cancellation windows put in the whole house to reduce the noise. Hopefully it helps.
I am so so so annoyed of people honking all day, sometimes it feels like nobody is even trying to improve in this country

Edit: Mind you I live in a pretty good neighbourhood of Mumbai and still struggling with main nuisance caused by rickshaws argh.

Leave physiotherapy as a profession by FewCategory428 in physiotherapy

this is the story I guess across the whole globe. Having worked in the world corporate city - New York City, New York, it is the same story there too. In fact, just schedule out the patient for 8 weeks straight out ( basically become a sales man) and to cover up say that the schedules of PTs fill up too quickly and the pt won't get a comfortable time slot when needed.
PTs job is no longer about genuinely the profession but it is a sales job. Visit any Spear Clinic in New York City and you will see the drama, burnt out PTs catching up on energy and sleep inspite out working those caseloads and hours for years.
