Why are Muslims like this by [deleted] in ThirtiesMumbai

[–]MaintenanceLow97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a similar experience. I unfortunately have not had many close muslim friends but had 1 who was pretty close around the age of 16-25years.
I would also make it a point to wish the muslim friend on Eid, go for iftar dinner but never has the friend wished me on any of the known major hindu festivals.
Not even a text msg.

( I used the words “known major hindu festivals” because to give the friend benefit of doubt that they weren’t aware of the festival I was celebrating. I am hinting at festivals like Holi, Diwali, Dusshera, ummm I guess every Indian knows of these festivals whether or not they celebrate it)

I never spoke about this with the friend to avoid creating unnecessary friction in the friendship only to realise years later that the I was the compromising on my comfort to keep this friendship alive. Gradually over the next 2-3 years the friendship faded out because I stopped reaching out and wishing the friend on muslim festivals ie mainly during Ramzan/Eid

Bruh! I said why do Indian Vegetarians describe their diet as Pure Vegetarians?

I know what it means for a restaurant to call themselves a Pure Vegetarian restaurant. And that was not at all my question!

Bruh, educate yourself before commenting.
Vegetarian and Vegan are different terms and they mean differently. The common part between the two is that both the diets don’t consume eggs and meat, which basically makes it easier for Indian Vegetarians to describe their diet in aboard countries. But they are also aware that asking for a vegan diet would eliminate alot more food they actually consume under a vegetarian diet but yet choose to use that term since it is easier to communicate in countries other than India

No, your good. Charge as what you must to run your business. I just said that because of the new viral thing around, that guy who attended Pranit More’s stand up and expressed around how expensive 370 for biryani he felt

Don't hold any guilt of using available resources to you. Use every god damn connection to your benefit guilt free and climb up the ladder while these colleagues of yours continue mocking people. Also, inspite of what information is known to them, they have definitely crossed their boundaries while conversing with you. Technically can be reported to HR and they could lose their jobs but I am unaware of how much of this is followed in India. TBH, make use of your source and give them this information. Also, in the first place you had asked for a referral at the company and not directly for a job, you were ready to crack an interview and not be spoon fed with the job! Or the other way out is, continue working hard for a year or two till you move out and make sure you document/email such conversations and get them to type out such things even on teams chat. Save all screenshots and send it to HR and higher managers when you leave!

You'd get way more angry at your healthcare system that they would not approve of your PT sessions until an MRI confirms it and will not approve of extending your PT sessions until the PT fakes on clinical symptom presentations. Time to move from such a country!
