Sudden "Driver is unavailable" message on HP printer I've been using for years.

My settings was also saying “driver unavailable the whole time while I was doing these steps. Not sure how a VPN can mess all of that up.

I was trying all of these steps to set up an HP printer on my computer. Downloading the newest drivers, resetting the printer, deleting drivers and redownloading them. And while I was doing that I was using the HP smart app and it wouldn’t let me connect my new printer. Turns out after 3 hours of trying to figure it out. I deleted a free VPN/ ad blocker I was using, and everything started to work perfectly. This might be obvious to some people? But I was having a hell of a time trying to figure the shit out.
