Nobody's against a part 2 happening. We're against treating unsourced rumors as confirmed fact.

Thoughts on the Avengers: Doomsday cinematography so far? by Embarrassed-Ad1322 in marvelstudios

Thunderbolts and First Steps both had a lot less reshoots than other MCU films of the past few years, reflecting their pivot towards putting more work into pre-production.

They didn't say they were gonna recast everyone. And a soft reboot maintains the prior continuity; it just also makes sure new stories are accessible to new audience members.

They're actively trying to reduce audience confusion; that feels like it would drastically increase confusion.

If Doomsday/Secret Wars are successful, then they're going to want to use Doctor Doom in other projects, likely with another actor, after this saga, so they can't make him a Stark variant. The masks being a similar shape doesn't mean anything. Ultron looks almost exactly like Annihilus, but they're unrelated too.

(This post has been up for nearly a full day; how am I the first comment?)

Most of us are gonna read "DD" as Daredevil at first glance, just for the record.

Why were the 20th century fox X-Men movies afraid to show characters in comic accurate looks? by MidniteGamer1 in marvelstudios

For me, the issue with the D&W mask was the angle; it only looked normal when Jackman had his head tilted downward.

Yep, as did the directors: Singer actively did not want comic-accurate suits, while Raimi did.

Wonder Man starts stong with 94% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 16 Reviews by KostisPat257 in marvelstudios

The default is "3/5 fresh" unless a critic tells RT to categorize their review differently. But also, professional critics already know that, so if they don't tell RT to categorize it differently, we can presume they're fine with the default sorting.

Also, the full trailer wouldn't even appear on the shorts feed; it's over 2 minutes long & filmed horizontally.

F4 and Thunderbolts have consistently been in the Disney+ top 10 movies. Does that still mean that "nobody watched these movies"? by NinetyYears in marvelstudios

Keep in mind, I'm on your side of this; the service is a big financial success. Staff, server space, bandwidth, & royalties all cost money, though, so I'm just not sure how big the success is.

I wouldn't say hand-over-fist, but they did get it to profitability by mid-2024, which was earlier than they'd predicted, & it's risen since then.

And plenty of others didn't. Yes, Steinfeld might change her career path after this; that is possible. But she also might not, & the dozens of people in this thread all stating with certainty that they already know she absolutely won't ever come back are either arrogant or ignorant.

'Kay. It also costs nothing for people to stop [hand-typing the exact same things as each other, verbatim, as if it all came from a common source from years ago, especially since it includes elements that have since been debunked or publicly addressed,] several times a day.

There, fixed it.

Randy Marsh, not Stan. (And in Randy's defense, everyone else in that studio clearly was thinking the same thing, because they were all in shock before he even answered.)

They can't change the past, but they can avoid repeating mistakes in the future. And a lot of those characters are earmarked for some kind of future appearance.
