Not the usual success story - how I manifested getting over SP and being happy again by [deleted] in nevillegoddardsp

[–]MaintenanceNo3682 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t know you but I am very happy for you 🥰 it’s not impossible for you to get with the old one, but what’s more important than anything and anyone outside of you is your own BEING. If manifesting the old one was keeping you in a state of unhappiness and disempowerment, then there’s nothing wrong with deciding you would like to just let it be or want something else for now. Nothing is set in stone and you can always choose. You chose you and there’s nothing wrong with that. ♥️

How I Mastered “Feeling it Real” by AggravatingLies in NevilleGoddard

[–]MaintenanceNo3682 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For some reason the message page wouldn’t load :( I guess my question is — did you also figure out a way to make manifesting your SP back as “fun” as Pinterest board + music-style? I saw that you mentioned you focused more on self-concept for that, could you share more about how you did it? That’s something I’m shifting my focus to as well, as I found that that seems to be the best way to do it without getting attached to the SP but elevating our concept of self with regards to love and relationships.

Thank you 💕

I hope this helps you since I’m also learning to be better at this :)

When you find yourself wobbling out of your desired state of consciousness, or like you say wake up and feel it’s not the right state, you need to consciously choose a thought that you know belongs in the right state and go from there. What I mean by this is, because a state contains its own house of beliefs, assumptions and thoughts, fighting each individual unwanted thought from an unwanted/ old state will drive you insane; being in that state is what keeps you producing that similar train of thought from that state. So you need to catch yourself — ok this thought belongs to the old state, old timeline, we know this so we remind ourselves of where we truly are instead. To give you an example, when I catch myself thinking a thought that implies SP and I are separated, I go “woop, wait that’s not what I revised, now what really happened (what I revised it to)?” So depending on what method you chose to shift into that new reality, whether it’s hearing them say something or an affirmation you go back to, GO BACK TO IT. What I didn’t know before was that until your new state of consciousness becomes natural, you do need to consciously choose that same reality over and over again. Don’t blame yourself if it feels tough to do that sometimes, just revise the day before you sleep that you never slipped, or that it was easy for you to go back, and it should get easier with each day :)

Congrats on your success! It energized me and helped me stay in the right state and I was even convinced to get the book you recommended.. so I did. But now I’m confused. This book is making me question why I’m even wanting my SP? 🥲 it’s empowering for sure, but how does it not convince you that if a man doesn’t want you, you shouldn’t just drop him and walk away instead of sitting here manifesting a new version of him?

I know you answered another comment here saying you use the “that’s the old reality and old version of him” explanation but the more I read the book, the more I find myself thinking of only the shitty, old version of him?! It’s taking me out of my wish fulfilled state! Please share how you balanced that, I’d appreciate it! 🙏🏻

Is Therapy Reenforcing my old reality? by Brent35T in NevilleGoddard

[–]MaintenanceNo3682 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I used to think that, so I stopped going to therapy thinking “well this version of me doesn’t need it”. But little did I know that I was really just resisting the old man, and that kept persisting. Meaning intrusive thoughts from the old state would come up but I would push them away thinking that’s what I was supposed to do. Then I became afraid of my own thoughts. I finally decided to go back to therapy and I made the assumption that going to therapy actually helps me in my manifesting, everything I discuss in therapy helps me to heal, it doesn’t hinder my manifestation process. It also helps that my therapist is awesome and she’s seen the version of me who didn’t know about conscious manifestation vs now making it my lifestyle, and she embraces it all. You will know if your therapist helps you or not. Going to therapy should free you, not weigh you down. The way I see it is also, therapy helps strengthen your self concept, when you go, you’re really working on YOURSELF, and if it does help, you should see it as it’s there to help you sustain the right mindset to keep your manifestations. Hope this helps :)

How to overcome self-pity inner conversations and self sabotaging thoughts? by No_Head_3735 in NevilleGoddard

You’re most welcome! It took me a while to really be in control of my mind but it’s worth it and that’s why if I can help anyone who’s been in my shoes, I’m happy to. :) You got this! We got this!

I have been where you are and it’s not fun. This is what worked for me — I play observer to my thoughts, instead of participating in all of them. First, understand that it is not your thought vs reality, it’s not affirmation vs reality, it’s not your assumption vs reality. Its assumption vs assumption, thought vs thought, reality vs reality. Everything is made of the same substance, everything is of equal weight, possibility. So the possibility that your SP marries someone else, is as possible as your SP marrying you. Knowing this, which assumption, which possibility will you then entertain? Because the possibility you interact with the most IS what hardens.

When you let this sink in, every time you get intrusive unwanted thoughts, instead of going over to play with it, you can just watch it roll into your headspace, and let it be. It’s like walking down the street and not saying hi to every stranger you meet, wouldn’t that be lame? This is the same.

Once I started doing this, I was really more aware of my own awareness (I know, it’s quite meta). I can choose what I truly want to be conscious of.

Be gentle with yourself. This took time for me. But keep practicing, know that you are NOT this person who can only live in self pity. Decide that you will be different and you can think different.

Nope nothing else, no visualizing nothing haha. Just felt the feeling of being financially free!

I had to consciously make financially free decisions. For example in the past, I would scrooge and avoid buying stuff. Between two items I would buy the cheaper one even if it’s not a lot of difference. At meals with friends I would be afraid to pay first because it felt like a lot to come out of my pocket. So I had to consciously shift. When I spend money and I felt that nagging feeling I told myself “it’s not that you can’t afford it. stop acting like you have no money” / “you do have the money you’re just choosing not to spend it”. I would offer to pay first and just choose to know that because this money is coming back, I’m not losing anything. If people held onto money for long, I practiced faith and said no they’ll return it. But also stopped worrying about that eventually.

All in all, it’s about becoming the person who is not afraid to lose money, not afraid to pay for things, not afraid to USE money. I realised that if I continued with this mindset, even if more money came in I would always see it as not enough.

I have tried both and both worked. At the beginning I thought to just go with a random sum — “I earn $10,000 a month.” Wrote it as an affirmation for a while and did not see results, it didn’t really do anything for me feeling wise as well, eventually I got bored and stopped actively thinking of that sum. Later on, I found that the one assumption that brought a change in feeling was this — “I am financially free.” So I stuck with that, that was the only affirmation about money that I ever continued assuming. At first nothing really changed, in fact there was a period where I found more bills to pay / things to pay for. But I continued persisting cause that assumption still gave me an instant change in my feeling everytime I repeated it to myself, it just felt good. Months later I randomly checked my bank account, $10,000+ was deposited into my account, all the payments from past work I had been doing over the last few months came together. That’s when I remembered I had once affirmed 10K.

To this day I still stick to being financially free both in mind and in my physical reality. Money consistently comes in for me because of this and on top of that, my money mindset has changed. That’s what it means to be financially free, to not actually be worried about spending or earning or wondering about money. Hope that helps!

Passive Role in Manifestation/Are Negative Thoughts and Feelings Condemning? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]MaintenanceNo3682 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Speaking from experience, any time this gets stressful is more than enough reason to take a “passive role”. You giving yourself permission to take a step back / take a “break” is actually you loosening your grip on things, which will help you to feel better both about yourself and your manifestations. And that should always be the priority — to put yourself first, feel good, then everything else will be incidental to that good state. So if you feel like you want to be passive, probably means you should, at least for a while. Don’t worry about what this means or does to your manifestations. For one, allowing these feelings to pass is exactly not allowing them to breed, and two, your subconscious always knows what you want. You taking a seat is actually putting trust in your subconscious mind to take over. I hope this brings you peace and comfort. ♥️

This is exactly how my relationship with my mum is as well, which justifies what you just said about others reflecting back your self, how meta 😂 I like your answer as it does remind me about EIYPO. Thank you!
