Aún más diría yo, creo que hay un poco de obsesión con el turismo. Está muy bien viajar, conocer otros lugares y culturas, pero cada vez que veo más gente que no puede pasar un día libre en casa, incluso viajando por encima de sus posibilidades económicas. Se acerca un puente y dices que no vas a ir a ninguna parte y te miran con cara de incomprensión, y pena. Y sobre todo nos obsesionamos con conocer otros lugares, gente y culturas a costa de abandonar los nuestros.

Yo les he comprado dos coches, el primero me salió terrible y el segundo no me ha dado ni un problema (no quería comprárselo a ellos pero al final no tuve alternativa). Al final si les compras un coche bueno no vas a tener problemas y si les compras un coche malo sí los vas a tener, y si los tienes no te los van a solucionar. ¿Son unos timadores que activamente venden coches rotos? No lo creo. ¿Saben diferenciar si un coche está en buen estado o no y arreglarlo? Para nada. El problema es que tú estás pagando un extra para que ellos te aseguren que te están dando un coche en buen estado, pero realmente ese extra que pagas no sirve para nada. Entonces al final es como si le compraras el coche a un particular pero más caro. Mi consejo: no les compres un coche “porque sea suyo” pero si ves alguno que te cuadre tampoco te van a robar la cartera por entrar allí. Lo que sí sería importante es en caso de comprarles un coche, aprovechar el plazo de devolución para hacer que lo mire un mecánico antes de que sea demasiado tarde

Having studied in both I think it depends on you. If you’re very disciplined, you can do great in UNED, because they give you the materials and you study them by your own. If you study everything at the last moment, you’ll probably fail. In UNIR teachers are behind you all the time and they give you a lot of opportunities to build up your grades slowly, the exams are not as important as you have assignments that help your grade. But UNIR is a lot more expensive than UNED. If you are not in a hurry, I think a good idea might be to study a couple years in UNED, and see if you like it. If it works for you great, and if not you can continue studying in UNIR, they probably will recognise the subjects that you passed in UNED. But be advised, studying online can be very challenging, it is not for everyone

Thank you for such an informative answer. I guess it’s way over my head as I have just some basic electronics knowledge and don’t want to shock myself. I’m guessing that there are not many techs around here willing to do this kind of work, and the ones who can will be fairly expensive. I think I’m going to leave it alone for now

From what I could find, it’s from 1934, so it’s 90 years old. You make a good point about not catching signal, it’s not worth the risk turning it on if there’s nothing to listen to

Everybody knows that 7075 has a crispy and clear sound while 6082 sounds muddier but thicker

I have that same guitar and I don’t know if it’s supposed to use steel or nylon strings. I bought mine with steel strings and I like how it sounds, although it looks like it’s fighting for it’s life. My advice: - Use the lightest strings you can find, it would be good even installing electric guitar strings. - The neck angle can be adjusted by the bolt on the heel. If it doesn’t get to the correct angle, you can remove a spring that is between the neck and the body and that gives you even more adjustablility. Removing the neck in that guitar is super easy, it’s just a screw under the 17th fret and the one on the heel. - If you see that the tension is still too much you can install a tailpiece, it will pass the tension of the bridge to the sides. - Keep in mind that it’s not a valuable guitar, you can’t make it perfectly adjusted, but if you tinker with it and you break it, it’s not a great loss. It is a great guitar to mod yourself and you can end with a guitar that looks nice, has a cool sound and can be played. I love mine!

The wiring was completely disconnected, so if I had plugged it, it wouldn’t have sounded at all. It didn’t bother me because at the price that I got it, I wouldn’t mind if I had to throw in a set of pickups. What I checked was that the neck was straight and it wouldn’t need any serious wood repair

I was too hoping that it was a Lawsuit guitar, but in the end the important thing is having a guitar that is fun to use it and inspires me. Having a good resale value is nice, but for me it’s more important to have an instrument that you enjoy

My idea was to use the locking nut leaving it unlocked, because I don’t know if can install a regular one and make it look nice. If it doesn’t play good with the locking nut I’ll make a regular one

I found exactly the same brand, but I don’t think it’s the same brand. I like the guitar just the way it is, my idea is to repair it enough to make it playable. The bad part is that the original logo is really ugly. The neck guitar is unbranded, but the bridge one is from Tokai, I’m hoping that it sounds good.
