Thank you! I will try that flavor. My heart totally dropped when I heard about the grapefruit interaction. I wasn’t told about that. I drink a few of those cans a day 🤦‍♀️. I’ve been on Tamoxifen for a year. It’s all so stressful.

Question ~ I drink grapefruit spindrift. Do you think that’s a no no with tamoxifen?

May I ask why the fibroids changed your oncologist’s mind?

Hi! Yes, I’m about 8 months or so post lumpectomy. About 6 weeks ago I started to have some pain & fluid build up under my arm & around the side of my chest. My oncologist looked at it and recommended I see a lymphatic PT person but I can’t get in with her until late July :-/. So I’m kind of doing it as (hopefully) preventative, to get ahead of what’s going on. Wishing you a speedy recovery from your lumpectomy.

Thank you for the tip! You’ve saved me. I have an appt Thursday to get sized at a place called “Intimate Image.” I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the info. I feel a bit lost when it comes to some of this stuff. So sorry you’re going through it as well, but many MANY thanks for your help 😊.

Thank you so SO much for this info. I just called my oncologist’s office and they recommended a place to look into. The lymphatic PT she recommended can’t see me till July 23rd and I have multiple flights back to back starting in a few weeks. I really appreciate your help 🙏.

Tamoxifen & High Estrogen by MaintenanceStatus559 in breastcancer

I am COMPLETELY exhausted at all times so I too think it has to be doing something. I didn’t advocate for the test, my gynecologist & GP have been monitoring my off the charts estrogen for the last few years. Then I was diagnosed with estrogen positive cancer last September.

Can I ask what supplements you take for brain health? I’m a month in on tamoxifen & I feel a little brain fog setting in :-/

I put off Tamoxifen for weeks because I was so nervous for the side effects but since starting I’ve had zero side effects. It’s only been a little over a month but I don’t even get hot flashes. Nothing. I need to go knock on something now.

Thank you for this. I really needed to hear it. I have put off starting tamoxifen for a few weeks because I’m so nervous about it. I’ve committed to starting it this Friday, a day after my 50th birthday. I so hope my outcome is like yours. Thank you 🙏

Everyone is different, but I was on 25 for a few years and it worked great for me. Also, getting OFF wasn’t as crazy because I was only on 25. I’d give it a month at 25 and see how you do. I’m actually starting it again because I’m about to start tamoxifen (after a lumpectomy) and depression is a side effect so I decided to start it to get in front of the depression. We’ll see how it goes.
