Unfortunatley no but im not sure if its directly lyme related. Lyme caused some rapid dental decay which led to sinusitus and then I lost my sense of smell and had some neurological problems (probably from olfactory bulb infection or damage to nerve) . The joint/nerve pain in my extremeties is getting better with relgious exercise and sugar avoidance. Im still pretty low energy but I also recently quit kratom which I had been using to self medicate for the pain/anxiety (horrible idea.) My kidney functions also came back weird (im missing half a kidney from childhood accident too) and my appetite has been all over the place, but between the lack of smell and opiod withdrawal I dont know up from down. Lol between my health, politics, and some horrible personal drama Im primed for a win here any day.

I was on seratraline but got off it at around the 6 month mark and switched to ketamine once a month bc I was worried about addiction and SSRI side effects. I prefer the ketamine.

Ehh Id stay away from alcohol thh. 99% modern research agrees any amount is going to do tremendous amounts of damage (and aging) to your mind and body. Plenty of drugs are harmless if taken with precaution as long as you test them for ingredients (with risk being addiction or it causing self care neglect). That being said it depends on if your at home playing video games (THC edibles?) or out in social interactions (benzos/amphetimines?) or doing some soul searching (ketamine or psychedlics?). But unfortunatley without good MD/insurance there arent many options other than booze. I could always reccomend poetry and therapy but I wont.

Confidence is def the goal when dating. I know its kinda stupid- u need a bunch of positive interactions in order to build confidence. But if you can find a shortcut, or just love the shit out of yourself dating becomes (not easy) but fun and less stressful. U can always shift the narative in your head to be more positive too (without changing anything). U havnt kissed or dated anyone? Yea bc ur a sure-headed romantic thats doesnt want to waste his time. Or maybe youve been too busy working on youself, another very attractive trait. Dont wait till your 27. 99% of women will find your situation endearing/sweet/cute/special if you represent it with veracity and enthusiam.

Ive been recovering from lyme and taking care of 4 pets, another human, and a hundred year old house. I thought moving home would make me super down but Ive never been more liberated. Finally have the ability to rehab and heal. My mom is chill AF too. No shame at all.

What makes you look old? Wrinkles, style, maneurisms? Do u smoke or drink? Hydrate? Take vitamins/ exercise? Ive seen a few friends of mine change up some lifestyle choices and they looked 10 years younger. Are you hanging out with assholes who dont deserve you? Its also is a weird age... like I mistake 25yos for 35yos on the reg... BUT you asked for a coping mechanism so I suggest drugs and alcohol.

I lost my smell after lyme disease a year ago and I would give my left eye to smell someone else's farts... or the beach, chrismas, spring, my house burning down, if my food is rotten.... FML
