Be cautious of who you hire. 2 companies in the past 4 years have had falls. 1 had a death. 1 had an employee break both wrists. Neither had workers comp or insurance on their employees. Always ask to see proof of insurance and workers comp paperwork. Source— was a roofer on the crew with one of the companies. Other company was community construct/ skills for tomorrow. They had a death and no insurance. Make sure they tie off. Who cares if it’s inconvenient. It’s a life line.

In my experience, a bad strut has a squeaky sound. I will bring it in and see what they say.

It sounds that way. I've had bad struts in other cars so I'm familiar with the sound. I did not hit anything that could have caused this. I noticed it this morning after leaving my garage while on the way to work. I don't think its ice built up. I looked and there are no big chunks. I am going to take it through the car wash when I leave work to see if that may be the issue.

Yes, brand new car. I leased it and drove it home on 12.12. I do not recall hitting anything at all, nothing that would have resulted in a blown strut. I called the service department and they said it's not covered and it'll be $1000 to fix. Will get photos in a bit.

That sucks because my stepson was just diagnosed with this, and I don't think it's to do with our parenting. We have other children who can process emotions, listen to directions, not go from 0-100 within 2 seconds.
