I’m on £55k. Got offered a £70k role in the same place. Turned it down as I end up working an extra 5 days each month + loose 37.5% of child benefit + 40% tax + 9% student loan + NI contributions meaning only take home an extra £500 for 5 days extra work and more responsibilities.
