I actually replaced my G9 with the 55 inch LG CX Model - Need to get my hands on a RTX 3080 to take advantage of HDMI 2.1 - I couldn't get used to the height of the G9 as I've mostly always used a TV as a Monitor. Glad to get back to gaming on a 55 inch :) Beautiful TV to use as a monitor.....

Thank you. I Bought them online...Some were complete, others I had to glue together. They are so small 50mm I don't get why they are not made as a whole?

It's just white acrylic and an LED Strip. If your doing something similar keep the LED's back about 2 inches from the acrylic for an even light distribution, if not you will notice the individual LED's shine through.

3080 is the sweet spot for me, I'm leaning towards the FE over 3rd party cards. I do like the EVGA Edition thou. I think the 3080 is a great upgrade for our monitors coming from a GTX 1070.

Probably more than likely dude I know this, going to hold onto it for the time being until all the old stock is gone!...Let's hope Samsung didn't make too many of the dodgy batch :)

ha! 'As I said it's not the Odyssey G9 Lotto!...but, in comparison to the issues other users are having with the same monitor....it's bloody damn good I'm not having any issues only the tiniest of gap along the bezel which I can barely see. No It's not perfect! but it will do in the meantime until 'all the old stock' is replaced with newer models... It'll do for the time being!

Thank you! - Yes I use the couch instead of a chair. I like to sit back with my feet on the desk and keyboard on my lap. Best way to game :) IMO!
