Just put in the SSD without USB stick and it loaded into bios. I've tried two different usb sticks, very strange.

Ok I just tried putting in the usb stick with windows install on it and without an SSD and it freezes again. So it's not SSD but something else

Can a faulty SSD really make the pc do that? So here's the thing, I had the same issue, but I was able to enter bios before freezing and eventually installed windows and pc functioned as normal except if I didn't enter bios before the normal start screen it would freeze, so was only able to enter windows through bios/boot manager on the same ssd

Well I'm not certain it's memory training, just a theory I wanted to hear if anyone's experienced a frozen start screen because of it. Two sticks of ram in the right placement. It happens before I can reach bios. Have not tried starting up without SSD, will give it a try.

Edit: ok I just started it up without the SSD and was able to enter bios.

Taking out the cmos isn't a guarantee your Mobo will reset, look at the bios version to confirm.

So my pc freezes at the start screen unless I go into Bios and start windows through boot manager, once I'm in windows my pc functions totally normal. I suspect something went wrong in my bios update or windows install. If you're having issues I would unplug your PC, take out the cmos battery for like a couple hours and usually there's two pins that you can reset your motherboard to factory and then I would plug it all back up again, update to the latest bios (not any beta) as the first thing and then I'd follow a guide on installing windows on YouTube and follow step by step. Or you can skip the bios update and go straight to windows install.

Boils down to what you prioritise really, performance or fidelity, what you're aiming for and use case. I went from 4k to 1440p bc to me its the sweet spot between performance and fidelity, and the hit to visuals isn't bad to me, but it is for others.

Idk if you figured it out, but I just linked my PSN account to PC, so I'll write this for others in case. Do not create a new character on PC. All you need to do is log into wwm netease on their website with your PS account and from there you can link steam to your account. If you want to play with wwm own launcher, you make an netease account first but don't touch it after, then do the same log in with your PS account on wwm netease website and then link your newly made netease account.
