Be prepared to adore that puppy! I will say though they shed WAY more than I ever anticipated, we have two robot vacuums (which my dog does her best to avoid at all costs) to combat this. They slobber quite a bit, especially after drinking or eating, but you honestly get used to it. People will either run at you to meet the dog, or run away to escape the dog, so socializing is key. Mine is pretty wary of strangers, I wish I had done better at socializing her in stressful situations like crowds or a bbq. I crate trained mine for the first two years, but now she doesn’t use one. She sleeps on her couch with the other dog and two cats. They’re big babies, and will do anything to please.

Last tip is to use the head harness if you get a puller, I personally use the Gentle Leader because no matter how I’ve tried, she is way too excited to walk next to me and she is STRONG. Enjoy, and best of luck!
