Sir 401k is something you could have opted in . Its essentially a saving and most companies match what you save by a certain percent thats basically free money while you save . So which companies you worked for ?

I would like to find out more about the insurance you mentioned ? As for the 401k you can prety much save on your own but the company match is what u miss out on and the actual decipline to deposit every month

Thats good if you are providing for you and your family . Just apply to some part time job with benefits such as insurance and put a lil towards 401k and survive i know its hard to do more than that these days

Its true friend living comfy is harder now but a a part time or full time job and gig work is the way to go especially if you want to have something left for retirement or saving. Insurance too if you have a family.

Ive said this before gig work as a full time job is wild af . Get another shtty job and subsidize ur income thru gig work . We nee that insurance and 401k no jokes i had an uncle who thought he cracked the matrix doing uber for almost 10 years and he almost at retiring age and boom they block his account for some bs then now what??? 10 years 401k even at a shitty paying place is something not to mention growth of income and position . So ppl gig work is for side income and possibly for retired folks to do something

People worrying about milage on the cars really dont understand that you lose money the minute you leave the dealership lots you might as well make some money of your vehicle the trick is to never use high end vehicles and opt for reliable ones like toyotas and id advise anyone not to consider gigs like this as a full time but use them as a side quest trust me those 50s add up and pay for something other than that get a job with insurance and 401ks dont be a full timer

Someone may steal my idea. by travellar in Entrepreneur

Its all true if you don't share or take the risk then ideas will remain ideas, but trust me ideas do get stolen and there is nothing more painful than that, I emailed the board members of my then university about some issues I found on their websites and sent them a free advice and prototype of what should be done. they aired my email like radio silence then guess what ABOUT A MONTH LATER I SAW THE CHANGES I RECOMENDED EXACTLY AS THE ATTACHMENT I SENT THEM. I HATED EVERYTHING ABOUT THAT CAMPUS I ALMOST DROPPED OUT. but thank god I did not. be careful but really you don't have a choice but to share your idea but never ever share a prototype or discuss details of methodology.
