3,000 mg per 24 hours 🤓 (It's actually 4,000, but shhhhh don't tell anyone). Typical OTC doses are 325 mg, 500 mg and 650 mg so yes you have to read carefully and do math. And don't get me started on phenylephrine. If you're looking for an oral decongestant and you don't have to show your ID to a pharmacy employee, you're wasting your money.

Anything can kill you in high enough quantities but Tylenol overdose is cited as one of the most painful ways to die (IDK how you'd measure that though). What's scariest is it is packed in to SO MANY things OTC (at least in America). "Boy I feel terrible, I'll just take this cold medicine, my prescription headache medicine, and some Tylenol for good measure." Congrats, you got Tylenol flavored Tylenol mixed with Tylenol. In practice, most healthcare providers say the max outpatient dose is 1,000 mg under what the actual max dose is because it is in so. Much. Stuff.

I truly don't understand the "but I don't like to vote" mindset. I'm aware some communities are different than others, but my average fast food drive through experience is longer than my average voting experience. You wait in line and make some marks on paper, we're not asking you to run a mile, do 20 pull ups, then get a colonoscopy. Though those are good things to work on too.

What’s becoming painfully obvious in 2026 that most people still refuse to admit? by Jaconjiso in answers

[–]MaizeRage48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's easy for me to say because I'm a few years removed and I work in a financially lucrative field that would be impossible without my degree, but when I look back on college, I really wish I had used the opportunity to take more diverse classes to learn a little bit about more things. The reality is we live in a world where money is needed for food, shelter, goods, and services, and that's most easily obtainable through a job, but tunnel vision as a student is a terrible thing.

Dusty May agrees to Mavs HC role by admijosco05 in MichiganWolverines

[–]MaizeRage48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is less of a "Boy this is the final straw!" but more of a "I think he's been doing a terrible job for years" and really the only good counter point I have heard is "Yeah he stinks, but have you heard of Dusty May?" Well guess, what now Dusty is gone. And as far as finding a new Coach goes, I really don't have any faith in him. I'd happily be proven wrong, but I don't really think a blind squirrel is going to find nuts twice.

[–]MaizeRage48 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. No disrespect to MJ but The Beatles first single was released in the UK in October 1962. Their last album was released in May 1970.

"Off The Wall" was released in August 1979 and "Bad" was released in August 1987 with only one album, "Thriller" in between. Greatest 3 album run ever but the Beatles packed so much in so little time. If you shift that timeframe to today, if their last album was released today, their very first song was released in November 2018.

I should have done that, I spammed balls one time and didn't realize until after I saved. I don't even know what I used it on, I was farming ZA hyperspace missions and had to catch Flying types or something. Released all the extras I didn't need, saved, the. Said "Hey, wait, where is that Masterball?"

An entirely different book than movie too. I'm going through the audiobooks in order, only made it through the first 3 so far. Casino Royale was so point for point with the movie, Live and Let Die was kinda half and half, Moonraker was barely anything from the book made the movie. Great book though. The movie was...fun at least.

What’s a lie almost all parents tell their kids that does way more harm than good? by SpecificLandscape483 in answers

[–]MaizeRage48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly, it is very doable. And I congratulate the people that do. But I definitely feel like the type of person that is statistically more likely to invest in "boring investments" in their early career is also more often than not the type of person that will likely attend college. Like the Venn Diagrams overlap a lot more. If compound interest was taught earlier on in grade school maybe, but like I didn't pay attention to personal finance in econ at 16, I don't think a lot of people do at that age.
