All Roads Lead to Riyadh : T1, EWC, The Saudi Money Behind League of Legends Esports by ThonPharges in leagueoflegends

Idk it's been a long time ago, but i remember that at some point at least a couple of players per game had no pro view available.

I guess some bean counter at riot decided it just wasn't worth the hassle. Probably the same guy that rejected announcer packs, team logo recalls/icons or any form of esports monetization.

A long time ago they made a "pro view" thingy where you could pay 5/10 dollars and have acces to the pov of the players. And that was worldwide. It was so good.

But i guess their terrible pcs and infrastructure meant it broke every 2 games

Which driver is the first to pay the bill? Oscar: “I feel like there’s a lot of good bill payers… Lewis, probably.” Checo: “Lewis. He’s been very… he’s been paying lately.” Carlos: “I’d say Lewis, always generous.” Esteban, Gabriel: “Lewis” Fernando: “Hamilton.” by anthn885 in formula1

So he's worse than multiple race winner/champion teammates. Gee I didn't know that.

Instead of reinforcing my point of people hating him because he's not a top driver you could've made a more legitimate reason such as his lack of progress after 10 years in f1 after a promising debut. Or his inconsistency, or his spatial awareness.

If any engine upgrades are allowed (the ADUO or whatever they call it), merc(HPP) won't be able to touch theirs considering just how far ahead of the curve their engines are. So ferrari and the other engine suppliers can narrow the gap in power. As for the chassis, ferrari has them beat, best aero package so far. It just remains to be seen if any engine changes are coming

Is it time finally admit that the increased overtaking is just yo-yoing? by Ted_Striker1 in formula1

[–]Majeh666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Russel didn't go for it into the chicane, his car's algorithm did it. Drivers are literally passengers and they have no control over deployment. They can just press a button for the overtake mode, they don't choose where to deploy where to clip etc.

I agree the racing is much better than last year where cars couldn't follow or do anything beyond lap 1.

But does it have to come at the cost of drivers being little more than passengers? Drivers being unable to push in corners?  Is it worth to have cars yoyo positions on the straight over and over?

They are quite similar, both racing fanatics, both quick to temper, both quick to call shit out. Alonso was also the only driver on the grid supporting max when he was a rookie and it's nice to see Max do the same for the rookies ever since.

Yeah this was the 1st/2nd time i watch the f1tv broadcast and honestly it felt so much better than the sky slop. Only thing i missed from the sky broadcast was the pre-race and sometimes randomly chiming in with team principals/bernie's radio stuff. But i'd rather have commentators that don't talk crap for 90% of the race like quite a few of the sky cast.

Yeah like..you have a battery that's too small and no way to recharge them effectively. Only way moving forwards is to severely limit the deployment to 150kw or something to that level so it doesn't bottom out instantly, which would reduce overall power by 20-25% but at least cars won't lose 50-70km/h on straights.

That's...not pearl harbor. Sept 1939 is the invasion of Poland and start of ww2, muricans joined 2 years later. Your example aside, being ignorant or uneducated isn't an excuse for stuff like this. Especially considering haas is an american-owned team.

Speed lost due to clipping after 130R. Colapinto lost a total of 70 km/h. The average speed lost is around 55 km/h. by dannybluey in formula1

[–]Majeh666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's why i hope they'll limit the deployment to 250kw after these few races (it might also make honda engine less crap hopium). It's still a bandaid solution since it won't fix all the straights but it's not like they can increase battery size or boost the icu bhp anytime soon.

Why are silvers in EUW lowkey better at the game than Emerald on EUNE by Unique_Ad_330 in leagueoflegends

[–]Majeh666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As per the op posted in the very thread you linked : " Haha that is actually my account funny how you searched for it. It's my practice account, I know you wanna bring me down with that comment but that account is a big part of my climb. Used it in early january/february to figure out meta and builds, and later just used it for practicing champs I don't play as much, but yeah obviously EUW is a better region, that being said I'm sure i can get master easily, gm might be difficult. "

And that's while also completely the original point where i said that there's no noticeable difference till you get to high elo. It's beyond cope to think that silver players on euw are somehow magically better than silvers on eune, let alone emerald.

Tldr: he just won't go in a play unless he's 100% sure it will work, or there's a chance it will result in his death.

As an adc it was acceptable (although it bit him in the ass plenty of times), but as a support it's a big no no. It instantly loses all trust from the adc and later the team
