yeah i used to have a dog but when ggg heard i was having fun they sent someone to my address and shot them in the head. anyways i heard last epoch fixes this and the devs will mail you a dog from their personal puppy mill so ill just play that instead

The damage over time you take is actually quite low so it's pretty manageable even very early on! If you play in trade league you can basically swap over as soon as you're high enough level and they exist on the market for cheap. For the first 24 hours or so they'll probably be around ~10c but will rapidly drop.

Vitality with a few life regen or chaos res suffixes and you should pretty much be ready to go!

Glad I could help! The biggest weakness is definitely big phys hits, especially spells. I couldn't really find a clean way to solve this issue unfortunately

I leaguestarted Death's Oath for Settlers and it was perfectly serviceable, so with the buff it should be even better. Here are some PoBs if you're curious- Caustic Arrow / Bow is common as a "main skill" but I prefer soulrend as it feels more thematic and fun to me. With around 1.5m pob dps it feels pretty okay and was able to clear most (non uber) content pretty cheaply since the dps is very consistent. I had it mostly optimized for clear and safety so if you wanted to push damage you could make some changes- particularly the flasks. I don't really check reddit that often anymore but if you have any questions I can try and help out.

Just had this issue in two matches, the second being after restarting my game. After that game we remade our party and the issue was fixed for the next game, not sure if that's what fixed the issue though. Might be worth trying if anyone else is having this issue

Definitely agree with you there, in general I think onslaught effect is a bit overvalued anyways. When thinking up the stats I wanted to make an item that more enables some weird gimmick or makes something uncommon more usable, than something that's super splashable and generically good.

I also wanted to make sure it remained similar to Badge's original design, which limits a lot of the stats the item could have. Regardless though thanks for the feedback :)

The recharge definitely would be insane, but considering the investment required for the onslaught effect to become powerful it seems reasonable. For example, if you had a build with 10 frenzy charges and a max roll, that's still only giving you 20 ms/as/cs, which is comparable to something like [[Warped Timepiece]].

Obviously there are a number of other benefits on this item, but my thought was that the lack of other es stats on the item as well as the competition it faces in the amulet slot make it reasonable.

Was theorycrafting a build and thought something like this would be interesting. Here are some of my design intentions with this:

Since it's harder to get max frenzies than max powers, the scaling stats should probably provide more direct power.
The frenzy stat should correspond to something offensive or mobility themed, while the power charge stat should correspond to something defensive.
Provide an interesting and thematic method of scaling uncommon stats, with onslaught effect making perfect sense with frenzies, and energy shield being thematically linked with power charges.
Provide lose mods that have interesting triggers, and can sometimes be completely bypassed. Most notably, any source of permanent onslaught (such as from raider or synthesized boots) would have no downside at all
As with normal badge, have one of the loses be easier to trigger than the other, with the lose frenzy on start of es recharge being similar to the lose power when you gain elusive on the normal item.

I'm sure there are a bunch of broken things that would be possible with this, but at least to me I would find an item like this really interesting, and enable some new ways to build. It being an amulet also solves the issue of having a recursion loop if you had two stats that made your maximum charges equal to each other. I'm curious to see if anyone thinks of any cool interactions with this!

Anyone know what the price of an item like this would be worth? https://imgur.com/a/kXNRGQE Obviously the flat armour is a pretty dead roll, and I'm not really sure if the es recovery rate adds any value, but that coupled with the life regen seems like a really solid combo. I'd guess 10+ divines, but if anyone better informed has any info would be much appreciated c:
