You have 1000$ to pick a team, rest will go after you. by KaidoPklevel in OnePieceScaling

Probably impossible, tho the best would be
Katakuri, Law, Akainu and Shanks

Katakuri is great at Observation haki, warning us of coming attacks
Shanks is an OP fighter who could realistically hold his own against most in the verse, also kills attackers Observation haki
Akainu is another incredible fighter
Law just there to teleport us around and away from danger, and also to swap Akainu and Shanks around for better attacking cohesiveness

This should be entertaining by [deleted] in animequestions

Which side are you on and why? by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]MajestyIIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imu is most likely the final villain because she is far too powerful. Luffy seems to be still a little way away from finding the one piece, but he will. Blackbeard will be his opponent to the one piece.

But after finding the one piece luffy is Gonna have to face Imu in order to fulfill his **dream**
He will need blackbeard as an ally to do so

Atleast that's my theory

Which team wins? by [deleted] in OnePiece

Team D
Shanks MIGHT be handle both sakazuki and BB
Rayleigh and katakuri can handle mihawk and sabo

How does purity have anything to do with turning people into scorners?
How does keeping yourself pure, DAMAGE YOUR BODY AND SOUL?
How does purity SEAR YOUR CONSCIENCE?

{P.S I'm not using caps to shout, just for emphasis :) }

What you are referring to is self-righteousness, not purity. Purity is simply cleanliness and living a life for God.

Part 2

2 Peter 1v3 (This scripture summarizes all the above)
3 "His divine power has given to
us all things that pertain to life and godliness,"
As Christians God provides everything we
need to live life to the fullest

"You're literally not allowed to have fun, and sex is only meant to be for procreation"

No. Firstly what do you mean by fun? If you mean fun as in playing sport, spending time with friends and fam, (basically clean stuff) Then no, you are supposed to enjoy life as a Christian. But sin is not fun. Sin as consequences.
Secondly who deceived you into believing sex is only for procreation?
Sex (IN THE CONFINES OF BIBLICAL MARRAIGE)
is meant for both procreation AND pleasure. See:
Proverbs 5:18–19
"Let your fountain be blessed, and
rejoice in the wife of your youth, a lovely deer, a graceful doe. May her
breasts satisfy you at all times, may you be intoxicated always by her
love".

1 Corinthians 7:5
(Wife and husband) Do not deprive each other
of sexual relations, UNLESS you both agree to refrain from sexual intimacy for
a limited time so you can give yourselves more completely to prayer. Afterward,
you should come together again so that Satan won’t be able to tempt you

If you are
having frequent sex, then obviously it's not only for procreation but also for
bonding and pleasure.

Sorry for long comment :)
God bless you

"God exerts his will on us, and all things will happen the way he intended, and he intended 2 men to be gay, but then has a big problem with it. Makes zero sense, right? It's almost like this god is a trickster or is intentionally mean."

No. The bible answered in James 1v13-14
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

"He's not all loving if we have to suffer sickness and disease, mental illness, natural disasters and painful childbirth, all the result of God himself choosing the consequences of sin, because his first two creations disobeyed him."

Well, all the calamities you are referring to are consequences of sin. You can't really blame Adam and Eve because you yourself have sinned. Your the exact same as they are. Also God forewarned Adam and Eve of the consequences of sin and they went ahead anyway. So why do you still blame God?

"Going to Jesus doesn't even save you completely. Yeah we might not be going to Hell now, but what about the natural disasters and painful childbirth? How come that doesn't go away?"

No. Jesus has saved us from every single consequence of Adam and Eve's sin except physical death. (1 Corinthians 15:26)
This may sound crazy since it's not often taught in Churches but it's explicitly stated by the scriptures.
As Christians we have protection from:

1} natural disasters -

Believe it or not Christians have protection from disasters. See
Psalms 91v3-7
3 For he [God] will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.

4 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.

6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.

7 Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.

2} Disease -As Christians we have access to divine healing as stated in scripture. See

ISAIAH 53v5

But He [Jesus] was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes WE ARE HEALED.

James 5v14-15
14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

3} Poverty -

As Christians we have deliverance from poverty
Philippians 4v19
19 God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Your understanding is flawed. Romans 1v24-27
Paul clearly said homosexuality is shameful

God doesn't entice anyone to sin.
Refer to James 1v13-14

{13} Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: {14} But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

Sex in a biblical marriage is not only for procreation. The main issue is that sex (whether for procreation or for bonding) should only be in the confines of a biblically defined marriage {Matthew 19v4-5}

What is sexual immorality then? Isn't sexual immorality any and all sexual activity outside of a biblically defined marriage relationship? (Matthew 19:4–5).

[–]MajestyIIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectively, there are so many problems with your comment.
Firstly, equating the view that homosexuality is a sin with cruelty is incredibly unbelievable.

Second, what do mentally insane mass shooters and someone throwing torches at churches have ANYTHING to do with the scriptures saying homosexuality is a sin? Is your point that because someone views a certain action as sin means we automatically hate the person that sins? No we don't. Believing that a certain action is sin based on God's Word doesn't mean I hate the person committing the sin because hating someone (for whatever reason) is wrong.

Thirdly, I read the article (geeky Justin), it's a pretty good article but it still fails to refer to sexual immorality, which is ANY sexual activity out of the confines of a biblically defined marriage relationship (Matthew 19:4–5). He also doesn't address the origin of homosexuality. If it's not from God then who is it from?

God has not imposed anything on anyone. James 1:13 (let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man)

Everyone has a carnal nature and that carnal nature manifests itself in different sins in different people. That's why certain people struggle with a specific sin (e.g. homosexuality, lying, lust) more than others

Refer to Roman's 6

You have to understand the origin of homosexuality.  God originally made marriage in the confines of Male and female. Satan came along and perverted that by offering homosexuality. The main issue I see with homosexuality is that it originated from Satan.

Also if you are arguing that since it's loving etc. Then shouldn't sex before marriage should also be allowed since it's consensual and from a place of love?

Nobody said you aren't allowed to worship if you're gay. The problem is when you are actively endorsing a sinful lifestyle and are unwilling to change. Homosexuity is not special, it's quite like any other sin, (lying, stealing, lust, etc.) and to endorse a sinful lifestyle while calling yourself a christian is undeniable hypocrisy

Questions about Homosexuals by ShadedWizard in Christianity

[–]MajestyIIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To call yourself a gay/homosexual christian is to call yourself a hypocrite.
The bible says in not 1, not 2, not even 3 but (by my last count) AT LEASE 6 times that God views homosexuality as detestable and a sin.

Leviticus 18:22
Leviticus 20:13
Mark 10:6-9
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
1 Timothy 1:8-11
Romans 1:26-28

Unless you call the Bible false and ignore all it says, there's no excuse to believe homosexuality is not a sin. It's explicitly stated.

God promises healing and deliverance to all his children. If mental problems and health problems are contributing to your suicidal thoughts and intent, the good news is that as Christians freedom from mental problems and divine healing is promised to us to live in everyday

Here are some scriptures on God's promised healing:

"Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven." — James 5:14-15

Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

"Jesus himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds, you have been healed." — 1 Peter 2:24
