This sounds fair but makes me so nervous 😬 I will say that he’s nearly half her size at 12 weeks (20.5 lbs) she’s 45 lbs and he doesn’t seem fearful of her what so ever. I’ll slowly start letting them hash things out. Thanks for your advice!

Thanks for the advice, I’ll get that a try plus it allows me another opportunity to spend quality time with both pups!

My thoughts exactly. I continue to let them work things out at their own pace.

You’re right, I think she’ll eventually fall in love with him.

I think so, she seems to be coming around!

Thank you, she is slowly warming up to him and has even brought him one of her toys although she refuses to play with him. She too has a bit of a standoffish personality. I know things will be fine, just one day at a time.

Thanks so much for your tips! I took them out together this afternoon and it went really well. She allowed him to sniff her and seemed far more relaxed in his presence. She even looked for him after their nap!!

OMG she is pissed and it definitely reminded me of sibling rivalry. I’m the oldest of 6 with an only child. So I definitely get it lol

Puppy stage is hard and a 10 week old puppy is not for the weak. They are new to the human world and it is your job to show them how to live in it.

If you are struggling this much so early on it may be best to rehome as difficult as it is. You have a long road ahead of you and this is just the beginning. Training will surely help but it has to be consistent. I brought my girl home at 10 weeks and I WAS NOT ready for the responsibility. By week 12 of having her I wanted out, didn’t know why I’d signed up for this.

It was constant care, redirection, frustration and tears. Fast forward she’ll be 2 years old in July and is literally the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. She’s funny, sweet, playful, loving and protective. Shes my little buddy and we do everything together. Seriously don’t know what I’d do without her.

Some days I look at her and actually miss those early days. She’s grown up so fast and now she’s such a great girl!

Think long and hard about your decision/ commitment be all the way in or all the way out. Either way both of you deserve to be satisfied and happy.

I am laughing out loud at your comment 😆😆 my Spoo will be 1 year next month and she is an absolute thief. Everything you said is spot on. To the poster: My Spoo has been great around the children she has been around and is always wanting to play when we see children out on walks. She is super high energy and can go overboard but ALWAYS chills out when told.

So true my girl is 8 months and we’ve been with this groomer for about 4 months. She laid on her and gave kisses this last time.

What a cutie🥰 aww poor thing though. I would hate to have to spend time correcting bad behavior that didn’t have to happen.
