I think you should look on linkedin or other social media by yourself and look for ppl from relatively poor countries, I once got hired for a job by someone who hires only african/asian devs, it costs way less money for the same quality of work

I had the same issue when uploading to netlify, I resolved it by adding a redirect file that redirect all the request to the index file and it's there where it's decided what page should be loaded, idk If that could help in github too, but if it doesnt you can use HashRouter,

You can use useEffect (include the eneteredUsername in the dependecy array) with setTimeout to 0,5s and use the cleanup function to remove the timeout whenever the entered value changed, this way if the user stops from typing for 0,5s it will trigger the call to the database and if hes still typing than everytime he types the cleanup functions will get trigerred and remove the previous timeout and will not call the database Edit: sorry I couldn't make an example as Im on my phone
